Well, I tried to share a picture but it keeps crashing maps... I'm not sure if that is good or bad.. ;-) hahaha (I finally got the picture to load!) Well, as I would rate a doctors office I shall rate this tattoo shop. The rating will be based on cleanliness, service and overall look of tattoo. This place is as it should be in cleanliness. All items are sterile packaged and the prep work was perfect. My sister, the one with all the tattoos (experience with tattoo shops), also thought it was very clean and sterile. The service was stellar. She (sorry, name escapes me) was very fun to talk too, joke with and helped me keep my mind off the pain. (top of foot, OUCH) She was extremely thorough with after care. I even called back to verify all the information and she was more than happy to go over it again. The tatto is EXACTLY how my sister and I wanted it to be. I went into Prophecy with an idea of what I wanted. I wasn't sure on how to place everything to make it look like it all went together and fit good. I showed Jeremiah a few sample pictures of the ideas I wanted, he sketched it on my arm with a permanent marker and free handed the entire thing. I checked it out in the mirror and away he went. It turned out better than I could have ever imagined and I was completely blown away! He was so professional, I loved the atmosphere of the shop and all of the staff were extremely friendly. I'm very picky about who and where I get tattooed--I have had some bad work done over the years by artists who weren't as dedicated as the guys in this shop. I started coming in to Prophecy last year, and I have continued to go back any time I'm in Sioux Falls. The owner Jeremiah has done my neck, hand, fixed my sleeve, and stomach. I live in San Diego and travel up here often for work. Jeremiah is one of the most gifted artists I have ever let put ink on my skin. I get asked back home where the pieces he's done came from. Additionally, he is one of the most professional artists I have ever encountered, and will make you laugh. The rest of the staff is friendly and professional as well. I came into see Tyler not entirely sure what I wanted my tattoo to look like, only knew I wanted an army pin up girl. He drew up a girl I liked better than anyone I've seen. Not only is it an amazing piece I couldn't have asked for a better more understanding Artist to do it. horrible experience. My sister and I got our first tattoo done by Tyler just simply script on our side . Took almost 45 minutes just to even get started due to his arrogance of trying to tell me where we should put it and how he likes to do things. I DONT CARE where youd like to put it and how youd like to place it .. this is my body my tattoo that will be on me forever I want it exactly how I've dreamt it. not to mention when my sister was getting ready in the bathroom- that took her 2 minutes- the Know it all artist decided to go on a smoke break so we waited even longer to finally get started. when he actually placed it on my sister he yet again questioned how we wanted it and then STILL did not place it right and i had to argue for him to move it .. I don't care that you usually center it on someones side.. that's not how we want it. last I checked I was the one paying for this tattoo to be placed on MY body not yours! Not to mention the SECOND he knew it was our first time he came back with a price of 125 a piece ... for 8 words ... in an area not even the size of your hand. i paid for us both ($265) as it was a gift to my sister who lives out of town which is why i even stayed and fought for the tattoo we got instead of walking out! I left extremely pissed off and feeling taken advantage of not to mention some of the letters in my tattoo are shaky like a child drew them -which i plan to have fixed by an actual tattoo artist who's not a D!(K.
