Great work, but they rip you off. They tell you one price for a large design. Then you decide you want the same design but smaller, and they tell you it's still the same price but then charge you $10 more than what they told you before and still expect a tip. Jason Reed is an amazing artist and easy to talk to through tattoo sessions. I've had two tattoos done by him and my wife has had two, soon to be three. Every piece has been amazing. I want to say I've had 8 (?) tattoos done here by multiple artists (you know many artists are kind of nomadic. They don't hang around any shop for a serious long time). My point is that every person who's done work on me has been excellent. Everyone's always cool and seriously helpful. And I usually am a walk-in, which isn't exactly proper. I had another one done yesterday by the newest artist Leroy Brown. Same excellent experience. You can't go wrong with Mystic Tattoo. I recently got my first tattoo at Mystic Tiki. From making a appointment for a consultation to actually getting inked, the employees and the owner have been nothing but respectful, friendly and they have a great sense of humor ;) I have 2 tattoos on the outside of my lower thighs that I got in Illinois and those hurt like hell. So I was slightly concerned about this tattoo that was going on the inside of my forearm. After telling Jason this, he was very friendly and said, ..."I'll be gentle." and what do you know., He really was. I had to look over and ask if he started already :) And now a week later my tattoo has never "oozed" like the ones on my legs; those looked like the ink was just pouring out of me. Awesome experience! Leroy tattooed my fiancé' hand with a beautiful rose, and even squeezed in a small crescent moon on my thumb. The shop is very clean, bright, inviting, and comfortable. Brandon is not good with anything that requires a straight line or a circle. He refused to work without lines. He often left things unfinished. I still have one that he didn't color in all the way. Much of my line work is unsteady and blown out in certain spots. The skull piece had a large patch of green ink that bled out around the tattoo. The four pieces he did in one sitting heavily scabbed up and came out patchy. I noticed later that the lines were very unsteady and I am unhappy with them to say the least. I will now have to find another artist to fix what I paid over $600 for. He kept saying he would fix the problems and I kept coming back like an idiot. Read Less
