The most amazing and talented studio. David Riley is amazing and has done my two sleeves as well as my neighbors. Wouldn't trust anyone outside of this studio. I've gotten two tattoos from Lil' Round...one in his previous shop and one at this new place. First off, the new joint looks fantastic! They did a great job with the space. Lil' Round is the whole package. An incredible artist and a really good communicator. That's something you don't see a lot. The is the best tattoo experience I've had by far. I now love and trust them so much I will simply email an idea and show up to get their interpretation tattooed without previewing the stencil. I originally had work done by Hutch when he was at Iron Lotus, and while I love his work, the environment at Iron Lotus left a lot to be desired. I followed Hutch over to The Gilded Mermaid so he could finish up a in-progress piece on my leg. Just walking into The Gilded Mermaid was amazing. The whole place is inviting and welcoming and just has the best atmosphere of any tattoo shop I've ever been in. Hutch's work is still phenomenal and I'll definitely continue to return. Little Round and Sarah have both been wonderful as well. They're both pleasant to talk with, incredibly welcoming, and just all around fantastic. He is the nicest person, and he's super through between making sure his station is clean, and your happy with the placement of the stencil. The Gilded Mermaid is the most well put together tattoo shop I've ever been to. Lil Round did a couple of bees on my knees for me and they came out better than I could have ever hoped for.
