I give this place 3 stars bc i had my very first and second tattoos done here by jase and went back to schedule an appointment to get my 3rd and also get an estimate on it. I had a great first experience with jase. they were all super friendly and made me feel comfortable. everything went great and i love my tattoos i got. but went i went in to schedule my next one i was greeted and asked what they could help me with. i told them an estimate and an appointment. then the lady asked "for what?". they have a piercing shop right beside their tattoo parlor so i figured she was asking which one. she didn't clarify she knew i was talking about a tattoo. so when i replied "a tattoo" she laughed at me and said "well yeah" in a kind of rude way. so i explained that i thought maybe she was asking a tattoo or a piercing. she told me in almost a condescending way "well when people walk in here asking for those things it's for a tattoo. idk call me sensitive but that's not all that happened. they then told me jase was no longer there but they had 2 other artists (which i had never heard of). after that she asked to see what i was looking at getting. while i was looking it up on my phone i was explaining it to her and she kept repeating "well i need to see it" so i finally said "just one second i'm pulling it up" and she replied in a smart way and said "no problem take your time". i wanted a few small birds under my ribs. she quoted me $150 for a pretty small tattoo. the tattoo i got on my arm from them was bigger and it cost me $80. then she asked if i had any tattoos so i told her yes and showed her. and she kept repeating how much it was gonna hurt and i kept repeating that i knew but she didn't stop. seemed like she was undermining me for whatever reason. so then i went ahead and started booking my appointment. she told me what artists she had available on what days (which seems very limited time that artists are actually there) so due to my schedule i chose saturday with steve as my artist. she asked for my name and so i spelled out my first name and she cut me off and said "believe it or not i know how to spell hannah, it's my grandmothers name" okay? there are multiple ways to spell it so i wanted to just make sure you got it right. and when i explained that she just kept repeating that she knew how to spell it. the customer service was amazing the first time i went there and now it's garbage. i was so annoyed and was so tired of feeling like she was belittling me the ENTIRE time. after i left i went to their fb page to look at tattoos done by steve just to make sure i was okay with his style and that he did decent work. there were 0 pictures of his work nor even a mention of him. i wasn't a huge fan of the only other artists' work (just personal preference). i chose to cancel my appointment due to all of this. the only reason this place is getting more than one star is because of how much i loved my first experience there. but this past time has changed my mind completely and i doubt i will ever return. this was the place my entire family has gone to for years and in a single 15 minute visit i doubt any of us will return.

Jase is the best tattoo artist! He is very talented and listened to my suggestions on what I was looking for. I couldn't have asked for a nicer young man to work with. He gave me a super tattoo camouflaging a deep scar I got from an appendix operation 16 years ago. I highly recommend this place and the price was very reasonable for the excellent work he did. Jocelyn, another tattoo artist, was also very professional and super nice. She and Jase were very upfront about what to expect when tattooing over a scar. Jase is one of the best artists in Myrtle Beach! GREAT EXPERIENCE!!

Wildside tattoo is by far the place to go if your looking for a tattoo. Jocelyn did a beautiful marlin and mahi color tat jumping out of water catching flying fish. She went beyond tattooing and created a true piece of art on my body. My family has been tattooed by everyone in the shop and they all do great work. I give 2 stars because the girls working up front are nice and because the artists ARE ultimately good at what they do. If you're cool with getting decent art but a shitty experience otherwise then go for it. My issue is with how completely rude and unprofessional they acted in my experience, even the artists who weren't working with me. I've never heard a group of professionals complain as much as the artists did, and about literally EVERYTHING. Talked unnecessary shit about clients left and right too which totally shocked me, like this is a business and I understand that people can be awful to deal with (even though in this situation it truly seemed like these guys were just being dicks) but save your frustration for after work or even taking it outside to talk about over a cigarette, not at the front of the shop where everyone can hear.

Initially was told a&d ointment would be OK to use, in fact ha e used it in the past for tats, but after touch up was told to use aquaphor lotion. Hmmph.

Zap tattooed me last night. They accommodated me even though they were closing up shop in an hour. Zap hand drew my tattoo and the price was great. He was real artistic and had such a personality. His booth had custom hand painted canvases all around and was a comfortable atmosphere. I enjoyed my experience and I will be going back to see zap again some time. I recommend this shop and artist!

This is the best place I have been to in Myrtle Beach. It's going to give seaboard a new name. I got a cover up nobody said could be done and it turned out perfect and was done free hand . Nice clean very friendly environment . Very professional work. It's not with the seaboard shops if that's where GPS takes you keep going down Stockholder it's on the right behind the other shops. If you don't go here your missing out.
Great custom work and customer service! I will definitely be returning for all of my tattoos!

I give 2 stars because the girls working up front are nice and because the artists ARE ultimately good at what they do. If you're cool with getting decent art but a shitty experience otherwise then go for it. My issue is with how completely rude and unprofessional they acted in my experience, even the artists who weren't working with me. I've never heard a group of professionals complain as much as the artists did, and about literally EVERYTHING. Talked unnecessary shit about clients left and right too which totally shocked me, like this is a business and I understand that people can be awful to deal with (even though in this situation it truly seemed like these guys were just being dicks) but save your frustration for after work or even taking it outside to talk about over a cigarette, not at the front of the shop where everyone can hear.

Went in for bogo deal and paid 200 for one tat got second free. It didn't take no 2 hours to complete so should have been like 150. Oh well. It came out decent after the free touch up 30 days later. Initially was told a&d ointment would be OK to use, in fact ha e used it in the past for tats, but after touch up was told to use aquaphor lotion. Hmmph.

He told me all of the aftercare instructions and they healed up quick and nicely!

Zap tattooed me last night. They accommodated me even though they were closing up shop in an hour. Zap hand drew my tattoo and the price was great. He was real artistic and had such a personality. His booth had custom hand painted canvases all around and was a comfortable atmosphere. I enjoyed my experience and I will be going back to see zap again some time. I recommend this shop and artist!

This is the best place I have been to in Myrtle Beach. It's going to give seaboard a new name. I got a cover up nobody said could be done and it turned out perfect and was done free hand . Nice clean very friendly environment . Very professional work. It's not with the seaboard shops if that's where GPS takes you keep going down Stockholder it's on the right behind the other shops. If you don't go here your missing out.
