As someone who has a pretty big collection of tattoos from people all over the country, I have to say that Hero Tattoo in Myrtle Beach was by far the best shop I’ve been in. I was highly impressed by not only the quality of their actual work but also by the knowledge and willingness to help. The staff is very talented and experienced which is hard enough to come by, but I can not express enough how nice it was to have them listen to my idea and bring it to life and guide me towards the right choice for my tattoo. My husband and I stopped at Hero's after talking to two other tattoo shops one in Fayetteville and the other in MB. the other two shops were not as friendly and looked at us like we did not fit in. guess we are too clean cut. lol. The studio is kept squeaky clean and everything is sanitized very thoroughly. It's also very well organized and inviting. The artists are all awesome to be around and are happy to help you figure out what kind of design you want. I always appreciate it when the artist is open to ideas but can also get creative. The portfolios of the artists are on display, which helps you decide whose style you personally vibe with the best. Of course, it's great to talk to them and get a feel for how they operate. I've gone to Hero Tattoo for my two sleeves because Heath pays a lot of attention to detail, enjoys the styles we discussed, and explains the process very well. All the guys are so nice, and very talented. My daughter, granddaughter,and I got our second, three generation tattoo, while on vacation. Last year, we got a mermaid, this year a seahorse, to commemorate our beach trip ! recommend them very highly,when you are in their area. Read Less
