My daughter and husband decided to get tattoos while on vacation. We arrived at establishment and was greeted by a very unpleasant employee. She was rude and obviously didn't want to be there. We almost walked out. Thankfully the tattoo artists came to meet with us - they were both very nice and both my husband and daughter left with a tattoo they very much like. While vacationing from Louisiana I stopped by after reading all the great reviews about Incredible Ink. It was late on Memorial Day and everyone was already getting in their vehicles and leaving. Rob informed me that they had already closed, but took his time to listen to what I wanted and gave me some ideas. He told me to come by the following business day to get my exact tat picked out and get sized up. From the moment I walked in everyone I came across was extremely welcoming and professional, the lady at the front desk was very helpful and nice. Rob made me feel right at home and was very accommodating. Rob exceeded my expectations with the Virgin Marry tattoo he customized for me and the price was much cheaper than I anticipated. Every time we come to Hilton Head, we come to this shop. There are true artist here. Rob and John are amazing artists. Josh is amazing as well. I can't stress that enough. And for some reason the time goes by so fast. They make you feel so comfortable and they are so down to earth. The positive vibes in this shop is amazing! Rob is not only a great artist he's very knowledgeable. He explains everything very well and lets you know what will work and won't work. He's very gentle and artistic. He wants to make sure you walk out smiling and loving your decision on your tattoo. You can tell he loves what he's doing and cares about his customers. He also can hold a conversation with you and loves to joke and make you comfortable while your sitting in his chair! I will gladly be going back to Rob every time I get a tattoo! Sami was great � super clean lines, she's calm and funny and down to earth. The place is clean and they have Netflix in the waiting area if you need to wait for someone to finish up. It's a bit expensive from my experience but Hilton Head is also a vacation spot which is why we were there, so that explains the price I think. Read Less

I had a terrible experience with their female artist (don't know her name). I had a simple tattoo done that was all straight lines and black ink. After leaving and removing the bandage I noticed that not only was the tattoo off center but the lines were terribly un-straight. I went back after it healed to have it re-done, hoping that would be the last time. I laid face down in the chair and when the tattoo was finished ( hurt way worse than 1st time) it was 3 times as large as I had wanted and the lines are STILL not straight. This is my 9th tattoo and overall my least favorite now. It is on my wrist so it is very annoying that the lines aren't straight and it's consuming much more space than I wanted it to. Now I have to find a real artist with a steady hand to make it even larger. Not happy and would not recommend her to anyone else. The shop was great overall though. Very friendly. Read Less

A friendly and not intimidating atmosphere, which was perfect for my two girlfriends and me. It was my second tattoo so I really appreciated the patient and warm artists and receptionist.
