I had my appointment scheduled and spoke on many occasions via Messanger.Only for me to drive 45 minutes and get told that my artist had already gone home. I messaged the Facebook page and they read and never replied. I'm happy though because over all the place looked messy and unsanitary so I believe it all worked for the best! Angie designed my second daughter's name to match the font of my oldest daughter's name on my shoulder that I got over 2 years ago in a different state. The font looks identical! If I didn't have to move for military reasons, I would be using this shop for the rest of all my tattoos! They do FANTASTIC work and make me feel right at home, which is so lovely especially when you're there for 7 hours! They have multiple artists that can help you with your style of tattoo, but I'm a little biased to Billy since he designed my tattoo himself and I spent about 14 hours with him haha.Read Less

I got a tat done today at Yes, It Hurts Tattoos. I am so amazed at how great my new ink looks. It is everything I had invisoned it to be. The shop guy was great so nice and helpful. The tattoo artist Victor was one of the most talented individual. Being a woman and walking into a shop with men I felt very comfortable and respected nothing but good vibes! Victor did my work. What I liked the most about him and the shop is the instant good vibe I had from the moment I walked in. Victor took my idea and then told me his vision and we were able to collaborate on a perfect design. He took what I had in mind and added his professional opinion on it and it turned out awesome. I had a very good experience here. I called the store and spoke with Hunter who answered all of my questions. I then messaged this facebook page and spoke with Angie. I sent a few pictures of what I liked but I wanted her to come up with something and she went above and beyond. I got a hot air balloon on my thigh but it was the little details that I loved. I liked the idea of it being nautical. She did sharks teeth, sea horses, bubbles, anchors, rope, etc. The colors she choose are beautiful. She put up with me being a chatty Kathy because it hurt and laughed with me. She made me feel comfortable. I have never been so uncomfortable or treated so rudely by any tattoo artist in my life as I was by Billy at Yes It Hurts Tattoos. I have six other tattoos so I am not new to the "holier than though" attitude that most artist have but there's is on a WHOLE other level. Billy was arrogant, dismissive & even made a smart ass remark about my tattoo (btw it was a memorial piece for my baby who passed a few weeks before). His wife Angi was extremely rude and made sarcastic comments throughout our time there. Honestly they generate sub-par work, nothing wonderful, very heavy handed artists from my experience and a friends experience as well. If there's was the only shop around, after dealing with their attitudes, I'd never get tattooed again. There are too many talented artists within 2 hours or less of Beaufort, (even some in Beaufort) than to warrant ever visiting this establishment again. AVOID THIS PLACE and you'll be a happier person for it. Read Less

Stay Clear of this Sh*t hole, i went in to ask about getting a tattoo fixed, and as soon you come in and make a left. On the shelf there was a big stack of their paperwork (copies of people's driver licenses, addresses, and numbers) leaving people's personal identifiable information lying around like that is not only illegal but its a great way to get your identity stolen.
