Had a great experience at Renaissance tattoo studio in Woonsocket Rhode Island. The staff was friendly and very social and they were very professional. They booked my first appointment ahead of time and logged it on their computer system and even called me the day before my appointment to remind me. They were also very prompt and started my appointment at the time that I had booked without a wait! I've had a tattoo done by Dave years ago and it looks like it was done a month ago. I just had one done last year by Doug, I came in with a photo of Jack Skellington and it was a bit cartoony, so he re-did the drawing and when he was finished tattooing, it looks just like Jack and it's amazing. Everywhere I go people ask me about my ink and I tell them I go to Renaissance and that I wouldn't go anywhere else. They are so nice, professional and they work with you from start to finish. Sean has been my artist for years and will continue to be until I decide to stop tattooing my body - I've never had a bad experience! I get complimented on the artwork on my body all the time and it's an amazing feeling! Saw Sean today for a tattoo. Even when I went in for the initial consultation, everybody was super polite to me. The studio is clean and everybody there are straight professionals. Sean was amazing. I went in to have a really bad tattoo covered. My grandfathers name was added to my grandmother's and the guy who did it did the absolute least amount of work and it looked horrible, and I hated it!!! I was very nervous to have anything else done to it but it really needed to be fixed. I saw Sean today to have it fixed and couldn't be happier with that decision. It was really a group effort with everyone having a little input here and there. The time Sean put into just the de...sign alone was more then expected and the finished tattoo was better then I imagined!! He not only fixed the crappy added work, but also touched up the older tattoo, and added a very well planned out design to it. The group was super friendly, very welcoming, and all around just a great group of guys! They were honest and at no point did I feel like I was going to leave with something worse then I came in with. This is my new tattoo home! I received my first tattoo here with Dave as my artist... great guy who does phenomenal work.  I got a mediums size back piece which took two multi hour sessions with Dave. He was kind and professional with a great touch he worked quickly and efficiently but always kept the client feeling comfortable and worked at there pace other than his. I went here for a tattoo on my ribs a few years ago after being referred by a friend. Bob did a great job the letters are perfect. After having such a good experience there, I went back recently for a flower on my leg. Doug was watching the patriots game while doing my tattoo and rushed the entire thing. Usually when you show up they have a drawing of what they will be doing. He drew it right in front of me in less than a minute. The tattoo came out TERRIBLE it was nothing like what i asked him for. I also put down a $60 deposit which they never took off my bill. So i was overcharged $60 and then had to go to another tattoo artist somewhere else and pay her hundreds of dollars to fix it. After much research I found Renaissance tattoo these guys are great. They are very professional and have a very clean shop, they all do wonderful work.
