I got my brows done by Kat in May. She was super professional and the studio is very clean and neat. She took her time to get the perfect shape and let me see them several times throughout the process. It took 2 hours for the appointment but I was so excited to see the results. They healed really quickly but look so good. I am super picky about my brows and these look so natural. When I booked this appointment with Aimee she asked if I was willing to give a review. I told her absolutely and then thought to myself, as long as you don't mind that I'm going to be totally honest about how I feel.. � so here I go.. Let me start off by saying, twenty years ago when thin brows were in, I MAY have had a little OCD problem. At the time waxing was the way to go. I'd wax every two weeks then exam my brows daily in a magnified mirror and tweeze anything that I fe...lt was " out of place" . It became like an obsession.. once the kids came I had less time so I decided on trying a permanent solution with electrolysis. This went on for a yr and a half at 40 dollars a session every two weeks! Expensive!! Unfortunately, at this time I divorced and was no longer able to afford that tx. My brows were left sparse and actually missing in some areas. As the saying goes, "One did not look like the other" so I went back to threading tweezing, and penciling in. I got my eyebrows done 2 weeks ago. I waited 2 weeks before I post a review because I wanted to see how it heals. My experience was amazing, Kay did my eyebrows and she was so nice, professional, easy going and fun at the same time. She asked me what I wanted, shape and color. From there she drew the brows and I made her adjust it until I loved it. I wanted big eyebrows because mines are so thin and that's exactly what she gave me.What to expect: if you are on the dark side the numbing cream does not work as well. Kat took her time and let the numbing cream on for over 20 mins and when it's still was not numb all the day she applied some more until I could handle the pain. 2. I have eyebrow envy. I used to have good natural brows but they weren't the best shape. Then they were waxed badly by a well known salon. Now I have to pluck, there just isn't enough left. So I resorted to permanent makeup. Alas that hasn't been done well either. Until I found Amie at Beautiful Ink. During the appointment she measured my orbital bones, brow pads and facial structure to determine the best shape for my face.
