Got my first tat today. Tez did an amazing job from the very beginning. Made change recommendations since he knew it was my first tat, and offered his opinion but still gave me the final say. My girl and I stopped in yesterday for her to get her belly button pierced, they took her within 10 minutes..The staff we met were fantastic and very professional..We asked about some dermal and the honesty we got was very refreshing..Not the standard BS answers just to get your money...Joe kept her talking as he did the piercing and was done in seconds..Would absolutely recommend this shop to friends..Great all around experience. I just got my first tattoo today by Joe. I got a swan done on my shoulder and it was awesome! He made me feel super comfortable and at home during my appointment. He knew I was very nervous for my first ink and he kept reassuring me and that kept me calm and laughing. I barely noticed the pain! I love Boney Joe's!! I have been going there since 2005 for my 2nd tattoo and have continued to go until now - 2012. I am always happy with the work that is done and the conversation while getting the work done. I have been to most of the artists that have worked there and am always happy. I recently got my first tattoo by Dave and he was very understanding that i was nervous and he made my experience so great that even after saying i would never get another one i just went this past saturday and had him do another one! I had gotten a tattoo about 8 years ago on my shoulder, and it became faded and rough looking (resembling a prison tattoo). I wanted to get it removed, but found that to be expensive and not 100% effective. So I went to Boney Joe and asked him if he could make it look better. Joe told me it was a mess, but in 15 minutes he turned it into a beautiful tattoo that I am proud to show off again. He does incredible work, he was friendly and made me feel very comfortable. Tattoos by Boney Joe is by far, the best tattoo and body peircing shop I've ever been to. In just my immediate family, we have had four tattoos, two noses, a belly button, and a tongue peircing done over the past two years, with much more to come.
