Worst piercing experience of my life! Took my 14 year old daughter to get her cartilage pierced and the guy was not professional at all, we both got pierced, he put a ring in mine, and it was pierced way too far in for a ring, and he used the smallest ring possible! I just left York ink, (where I usually go for all my piercings but they were closed so I thought I would try someone else, I highly recommend them, never had any problems, they are clean and professional)it was infected and left a mark on my ear because it was embedded in my ear. Thank god my daughter decided against a hoop and got a stud! He did not use proper procedures with gloves and handling tools. And when it was all said and done he raped us with a 90$ total!! 10$ piercings at York Ink on Saturday’s and Sunday’s with clean, experienced, professional piercers! DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!! Went in yesterday and specifically asked Bob for a daith piercing, for migraines. I am a 40 year old woman, with only standard ear piercing beforehand. After chatting about holistic medicine, water consumption and diet, he did my piercing. Beforehand, he drew a dot and had me "look at" the placement. Umm.. The dot was on the side of my head. He said he did lots of these piercings and it was right. So, I said okay. Later found out he pierced my rook instead. I messaged him and his reply was that my "daith was not suitable for piercing." Got my monroe done and thought it was too low at first I had to go back because the ring he gave me was not long enough due to the swelling which is why you're supposed to pierce it with a longer ring then about A month after that I went to a different tattoo parlor and they informed me the piercing was too low which I already knew that... the piercer (at different place) advised me that it should have been place up higher nd now may cause gum damage just got home from the dentist and what do you know I had to remove my piercing as it caused gum damage so now I paid for the piercing and basically wasted my money as I had to take it out before It would get worse which would result in me getting surgery... The tattoo artist listened to what we wanted and didn't try to force us to go bigger like the tattoo place in the York galleria mall. He was very funny and cracked jokes to make us feel comfortable. Best place in York to get tattoos. Read Less

I went there about 5 days ago to get my tattoo done and it came out amazing. Jordan really understood what I wanted done with my tattoo he knew I wanted the tattoo in a precise spot and placed it exactly how I wanted. Because I wanted water colors and not a lot of artists know how to do that but he did it very well. It's pealing at the moment and I can't wait to finally have it healed. I went in to check on getting a tattoo of my puppy on my calf, was expecting to pay alot, but was very reasonable. Took about 2 1/2 hours with 2 breaks. Looks exactly like my puppy,even did the eyes perfectly...one blue and the other 1/4 blue. The guys love to joke around and have fun while still doing great job. I got a piercing there, and it was cheap, and the piercer was very nice and funny. But the room we went into was not very well lit at all, and afterwards, I noticed that the piercing was VERY sideways. Now, I understand piercings can heal and move, but when it's sideways to a degree THAT severe as mine was, I don't think it was the way it healed.
