I went to Tattoo Galaxy yesterday at the last minute to get a daith piercing, which I'd been thinking about for a long time because of migraines. I didn't know where to go, but saw the good reviews and nobody else was open on Sunday. I'm so happy about that!! I'm never going anywhere else. Jay was incredible. I walked in on a Saturday afternoon to get my septum pierced. Jay was a breath of fresh air, especially after a bad customer service experience at a shop down the street. He answered all my questions, made sure the jewelry was as small as he could use, and took all the necessary steps (and then some!) to keep everything sanitary. From the moment I walked in I was 100% confident I was in great hands. On top of all of that, I experienced NO PAIN at all. Every time someone asks about my piercing, I rave about my experience. OH- Jay also makes sure the shop is stocked with high quality jewelry of all kinds, just like my internally threaded circular barbell. I found Tattoo Galaxy on a google search. I was looking for a tattoo/ear piercing shop because for over 20yrs I've suffered from severe chronic daily migraines. So bad that I can rarely get out of bed. I had heard that some migraine sufferers have gotten daith piercings, all w good results. I figured why not, I've tried everything else. I called & spoke to Mike. He was very kind & told me he had success w migraine sufferers. I felt comfortable talking to him as he describe...d the piercing, how & why it works, etc. I went Wed 5/17/17. It hurt, I'm not going to lie but he calmly talked me thru it. Believe it or not the migraine pain went down to a ache. It was AMAZING! I was a little worried today, now Sun, because the piercing was pretty sore so I called. Mike told me all was well after letting him kno it wasn't red or swollen. He spent about 10 mins answering every question I had. You could tell he cared by his tone. That meant a lot 2 me. Since it seems to be working, as soon as my piercing heals I'm going back to get my other ear done. Great place. I finally decided to get my first tattoo after years of putting it off. Tina was great, she came up with a nice design based on what I showed her and the tattoo was great. She was patient with my questions and was laid back/easy to deal with. I think they're reasonably priced and the shop is CLEAN. To me that was just as important as anything else. Great Staff. My daughter had her nose pierced and Don was very patient, accommodating and professional. My son also had his first tattoo done with Floyd.... it was a great experience. The staff couldn't be any more nice and the work speaks for itself. We have since gone back for a second tattoo. This particular tattoo shop gets 5 stars across the board. Missed appointments overpriced on a large line tattoo that had to be redone on my whole back when my current tattoo artist fixed beautified what Brian destroyed..other tattoo artists there also failed to return calls and keep appointments which is not good business both at Willow Grove and Feasterville. In my opinion you need to focus on getting people in and pleasing them with your tattoo skills because this is your job. Shona does a great job but then again when Your boss is only focused on one or two shops that shorts out the workers. I would not recommend tattoo galaxy to anyone they are clean but that doesn't mean their tattoos are any good.when I saw this happened to my husband also I knew it wasn't just me. Read Less

This place looks a little run down from the outside but I went here to have my nipple pierced and I cannot give more praise!  If there was a 6 star rating I would give them that. It's a husband and wife team and both are very pleasant and make you feel comfortable. Everything is clean. Floyd in Willow Grove is working on a huge piece for my arm that was started (poorly) by someone else. Not only was he sensitive to my limits and totally committed to my vision, but it already looks a thousand times better! They were easy to get in touch with, easy to get a consultation from, easy to schedule with and sooo much fun. They clearly welcomed me and my family and the piercing artist (I'm sorry I forget her name right now) was really fun and really good, too. She re-pierced my nose with jewelry I brought with me and it looks better than it ever did and healed in a blink of an eye. Prices are good too, especially considering what a quality place this is. Nothing but amazing from Tattoo Galaxy in Ambler!!!! Saul is one of the most amazing artists I've seen! After seeing some of my friends end up with terrible tattoos I was hesitant to go to a random shop, but I was willing to give it a shot.
