I'm very happy with my ink and service at Xtreme Ink Tattoo.   I had a very small quick piece done on my wrist as a walk in. It's a meaningful "symbol of open arms" for a humanitarian group FATHOM I've been doing work with in the Caribbean for the past couple years.  It's very symmetrical and it came out perfect.   My artist was Ryan and I was in and out in 15-20 min.   Like I mentioned, it was a simply one.  I now have an interesting  conversation piece and something to smile for every time I look at it.  A picture (or TaT) is worth a thousand words.   Sometimes the easier ones stand out more. Had a great experience getting my nostril pierced here. I brought my roommate and we both got the same piercing, and we both loved it. The experience was fast and clean, and though the guys there all look like members of Hells Angels they are really nice and very helpful. A nostril piercing is 40$ and definitely worth it. Had a great experience with my friend to get piercings today - shop is super clean and nice and antman was incredible. Super friendly and piercings were done so quickly (and dare I say painlessly). Didn't end up getting a tattoo here. Went elsewhere. Seemed unprofessional in customer service. Maybe they do good tattoos, i don't know. But they made us stand around and wait for anyone to talk to us. Then they said they couldn't do the tattoo we wanted unless we made it "twice the size" because it was too detailed. It was an Eagles logo with a little green and grey. They offered to do a black-only tattoo and showed us a drawing that looked like a prison tat. My friend came up from Kansas last summer for Firefly, and we also wanted to get matching tattoos. I had researched around for someone who had super clean line-work, and settled on Ryan Court. The tats (mine on my ribs, a tricky spot as someone who never had a rib tat before!) came out GORGEOUS, and he was so quick too! It's been almost 8 months now and they still look phenomenal. Hers is on her upper chest, and she gets so many compliments on it, even from her hometown tattoo artist. The design features a pretty long straight line, which looks as close to perfect as a tattoo gun could possibly get. This guy has a CRAZY steady hand. Best tattoo shop around. I have been going here since their first location about 15 years ago. Now at their third location, which is the nicest setup it is a great, clean, trustworthy tattoo shop. Owner and artists are friendly, knowledgeable and can handle anything. Whether it's your own design or theirs you won't be disappointed with the work. I recently had a mid cartilage piercing done there. Many people had recommended that I had it done there so instead of using a gun like I usually have, I went here for my piercing. The experience in itself was very good. I felt like I was in good hands with my artist and the piercing itself was done beautifully. I'm writing this review from A.I. DuPont Children's Hospital, as I was admitted yesterday and put on IV Antibiotics for an extremely infected ear (from this piercing) and the doctors on my case have said that there could be permenant deformation of my ear because of how swollen it has become. I am not leaving this review to trash this business because I had a great experience there, but I am leaving this review so that no one else ends up in the situation I'm in. Read Less

I had Dylan as my tattoo artist, and he was very nice and made me feel confident he was going to give me a beautiful tattoo. Which he did! I got a 4inch long colored rose on my outer thigh. I felt very comfortable and he was very patient with me and my friend that loves to talk and talk and talk. I've been to Xtreme a few times as a guest, and every tattoo I've seen so far has been beautiful. For my first tattoo, I have to say my experience was perfect. I went in for a small one word lip tattoo. The word has an S at the end and the artist free handed it onto the paper and forgot the S and then tried to squeeze it in but it looked bad. It was also too large so I asked him to rewrite it, he told me he did but he didn't. He then tattooed it in my lip and none of the letters are straight. There's an O and he messed it up and it looks like a Q. There was also a K and all the other letters are uppercase except for the K. I asked him to fix the K which would have just required him to make the Line at the top of the K longer and he said "no, you only get one shot, that'll be $60" Honest all around a terrible experience and this artist should be fired. I didn't even make it to the shop... I literally just called there to make an appointment and the gentleman I spoke to was very rude. I could tell by his tone when he answered the phone that he had no customer service skills. I understand you work in a tattoo shop, but if I'm calling to give you MY money, that's no way to treat a potential client. I told him I wanted to set up an appointment and all he said was "ok...". He proceeded to tell me how to go about doing so, in the most short-toned manner. The call ended with me telling him I would stop in in person (which I had no intention of doing). He gave me another dry "ok" and hung up the phone... Definitely won't be going here. I walked in as a spur of the moment kind of thing. Got taken care pretty quickly considering how busy it was. Got set up with Anthony and he really worked with me to get my tattoo right. Honestly what I wanted wasn't really possible with sizing/detail but he went above and beyond to help me get it right. She drew what I asked but I wanted input from the artist about shading, shaping and maybe perfecting the design since they are the pros. She said "idk, it's your tattoo." Just had a rook piercing done tonight with Molly - she was awesome and super easy to work with. She was professional and answered my thousands of nerdy questions with good information. I went last about two years ago. They do great work I can't take that away from them. But most of the artists and workers seem to have a "better than you" attitude. The first time I went I had Keith, the work was so nice I ignored how everyone made fun of me for moaning in pain and telling me it sounded like I was being raped. The second time I went to the same artist, but I left with an uncomfortable and insulted feeling and it caused me to stop going and stop recommending them. They seemed insulted that I came in with a small simple  outline of an elephant. One worker with an arm cast looked at what I wanted and was like "Oh wow, this is original. Where'd you get this idea, google?" Not knowing it was for my grand mother who said if I ever get a tattoo for her it needs to be simple and delicate. But I guess it wasn't as original of the literal hundreds of traditional sailor tattoos of anchors, roses, mom hearts, and eagles they pump out on a monthly basis. The small outline of the elephant also had two unintentional gaps in the line work which I went to another shop to be fixed. Its unfortunate that they were so nasty to me. Ive sent about 6 people there before the last time I went, since then ive stopped sending people there. I wouldn't recommend this place for someone going to get their first tattoo, it's more for someone who's had alot of work done before who's used to rude atmosphere. Read Less

Before getting my first tattoo, I shopped around in the West Chester area.  If you get a bad feeling about any tattoo shop, I suggest you turn around and leave.  I tried Local Color, and High Roller.  During the consultation in both shops, I felt like the artists were taking the design I wanted and trying to manipulate it into something they preferred.  For tattoos, that is an absolute deal-breaker.  The design I wanted was something I found online with a few of my own small additions.  It's also not a good sign when the artist can't give you a price quote in the shop.But then my luck changed.  I walked into Xtreme Ink with my design.  An artist named Ryan was taking walk-ins that day.  He looked at my design, blew it up a bit to make it feasible, and gave me a quote immediately.  I left an hour later with my tattoo, and today, I am still impressed with Ryan's accuracy and craftsmanship.I will definitely consider this place for any future tattoos.  Check out Ryan's instagram rcourttattoo for some of his work.
