I had my first tattoo done here last week by Shannon and it was an amazing experience. Shannon made me feel really comfortable. She helped design and plan my tattoo. It turned out amazing and I’m Soooo happy with it. I would get another in a heartbeat. It was a rib tattoo which is supposed to be kind of more painful but she did a great job and it was not too painful at all ! Best of all the results are amazing. I had Tabitha pierce my tongue and it didn’t hurt. I went to go get the bar changed at a different shop and the piercer there said that the smaller bar wouldn’t fit because she pierced too far back on my tongue so I had to take the bar out and let my tongue heal. I’m definately getting it redone but not there. I’ll go back there to see how their tattoo artists are but I’m not going back for a piercing. Read Less

Derrick does all my tats here. Reasonable pricing and great artists here. All my tats were pretty painless and healed a lot faster than other artists’ work from other locations. I swear they could be stand up comedians too. Every time I go I’m in tears from laughter with some of the conversations. Very relaxed environment. Good music too. My sister wanted to get her septum pierced and I tagged along. I had no intention of getting mine redone since it killed the first time (got it done at different shop). But then I heard it was $10 and it would be done by Jules who we read good things about, I decided to give it another go. It was an amazing experience! I came in to local color last night and was impressed with the people. Derrick was my artist and he did an amazing job. I've had a design in my head for 5 years and it wasn't half as good as what Derrick did. The other artist who I watched was equally as impressive with the detailing and shading he did on his client. Got my semicolon tattoo here back in April. Tabitha was my artist. She dealt with me being a big pain -- I asked to alter it after she'd already cleaned and prepped her station, put on gloves, etc. She acknowledged my comments about fainting, and let me take a breather when I did faint (whoops). Just went to Local Color Ink TODAY with my 2 sons to get memorial ink for my sons BFF who recently passed. Shannon - the new owner - did a fantastic job! I went into this place 2 days ago to get my boyfriend a can of H2Ocean. Walking up to the door one of the people who works there was sitting outside on the phone smoking a cigarette( come to find out later that she was the owner ). I stood inside for a few minutes and waited, the piercer was piercing someone and no one was there to help me. The girl that was sitting outside( the owner ) finally came in and continued to finish her personal conversation on the phone, she wrote down some guy named Joey's phone number on a pad standing right next to me and proceeded to tell him that she was coming home for a visit in September and they should get together when she gets there. The piercer came out of the back room with 2 girls, one of which got her belly button pierced so she was still talking to them about that. The one on the phone ( the owner ) finally finished her phone conversation and then asked me if I had a question about something. I asked for my can of H2Ocean and left very annoyed. Upon getting home I remembered my boyfriend going in their a few months back to get a piece of jewelry changed and the piercer asked him if he was going to "offer her a tip". So, I went on to facebook to see if they had a page and I came across the owners page. I sent her a message letting her that she was very unprofessional and rude and also let her know about what her piercer did a few months ago. She replied today and told me she was sorry for the way I felt which was fine and professional but...........She then, 15 minutes later let her rude piercer reply telling me she never asked for a tip. Now, my original email was letting her know that she was unprofessional and rude and by letting the piercer also reply was way unprofessional. I did reply to that and let her know that she proved me right and I would be making bad reviews about her shop.So, if you are in the West Chester area drive into town and go to Extreme Ink and save yourself the rudeness from these individuals.
