I came here last minute to get a tattoo on my 18th birthday. When I came in the place there was a bird cage with a bird directly next to the door. There was bird poop and seeds all over the floor and it was disgusting. That was my first red flag. I then showed him a picture of the tattoos I wanted (a bird and semicolon). After waiting for 40+ minutes to get my tattoos I sit down in the chair. Before he starts he goes so I don't tattoo a semicolon on anyone without knowing why and I'm like in my head he obviously knows it's a suicide thing and I'm not comfortable sharing my business with just anyone but I share minimal details and he's like okay okay and tattoos it on me. Then when he goes to start the bird I'm like wait do you want to see the picture again because at this point it's been over an hour since he's glanced at this picture and he goes no, points to his head, and says "it's up here". He then continues to start the tattoo. While he's tattooing me he continues to say racist and homophobic things and I just nod because I'm like this crazy man will mess up my tattoo if I say something he doesn't like. It's been about a month since I got the tattoos. The semicolon I got has faded and looks like two pen smudges on my hand. The bird looks absolutely horrible and he couldn't even make a normal head. It looks like a backwards "C" attached to a cartoon body. He also did not ID me and did not ID the girl who was getting a piercing in front of me. I had another friend go here recently and he touched her inappropriately while he was tattooing her. This establishment is disgusting and I hope is shut down soon. Read Less

Went here because my normal tattoo place of choice didn't have any openings for a while. I was greeted by a nice owner, received an awesome tattoo, and was given fair pricing.  will be going back in the future. Read Less

The owner of the shop, little John , has a talent that is amazing. I have 32 tattoos, 28 are little John's, half of which are freehand. I have so much trust in him because he talks to you about your tattoo and really has a feel for what each individual wants. All of my piercings are from him. In that area, he too pays attention to the client and knows exactly how to put each different person at ease in their own way. The prices are the best around. I challenge anyone to find a better price. If you do, go get it. But I have a feeling after looking around, you'll be back. Read Less

After several parlors said no to my request to put my kids names on my hands John said hell ya and got to work creating the font I was looking for and gave me exactly what I wanted. I have gotten all of my piercings from this place except my first earring lobe holes. Double piercing on my ear lobes, my nose, my septum, rook, helix, belly button, cartilage were completed in a sterile fashion and lil John makes it a casual and comfortable experience, especially if you're nervous, it's just a friendly environment and that takes a lot of anxiety away. I wish it wasn't "cash only" but they do have a sign on the door that says so before you walk in, so at least you are made aware before you have your service done. There is an ATM down the street, too. I won't go anywhere else to get my piercings done because the quality, environment, and price deals are unbeatable. Read Less

DO NOT GO FOR DERMAL PIERCINGS!! Okay so I have been going to Eternity for a few years, they always have great customer service, are fun and make the piercing process enjoyable, and I got my lip, septum, and industrial there, and they all were great. Would recommend them for basic piercings. However, I tried to get a dermal piercing there, and it was not put in correctly so I had to get it taken out and put back in. But when i went to get it again, it was again not put in c...orrectly and I had to go to another shop to correct it (ow). Also I called ahead to make sure he would be there three times to FIX what he messed up and each time I showed up after he said he would be there he wasn't. The other staff was very nice to me and worked with me around his irresponsibility, however it was still extremely frustrating, especially when I called ahead to make sure I wouldn't waste my time driving there for him not to be there and then that happened anyway. These guys are awesome. We spent all day here with the tattoos that we wanted to get. The staff was awesome. John was super friendly and kept us short of being bored while we sat getting our work done. My guy Pat did an amazing job as always. I love Eternity Tattoo!!! John & Shelly are awesome, wonderful people! Most of all, JOHN KNOWS WHAT HE'S DOING!! He re-pierced my 19 year old daughter's navel the RIGHT way since the last place we went messed it up pretty badly and the piercing ended up falling out. John is definitely doing my first tattoo! I went here for a Madonna (opposite side of Monroe). I was scared, so let me tell you what it's like. John is the kind of person you want to be around. I am a wuss when it comes to pain. There was a very slight pinch that lasted less than a second and it was DONE. He said there would be redness & swelling, and I have sensitive skin. I had no redness and no swelling, the prices are VERY affordable. You can walk right in and be taken care of very quickly even if someone is ahead of you. Shop is clean and staff is professional and courteous. Started a full leg sleeve with Erik, and 6 hours in it looks amazing so far. He took the idea I had, drew it up into a great layout and gave me the start to a phenomenal leg piece.
