He was very attentive to my design, very friendly, and his very fine lettering on the initials is perfect. Very clean!! Every artist is extremely talented! Pete did my tattoo and it's perfect! The staff is very friendly and knowledgable!! Their prices are average, pretty much the same as other tattoo shops. They're honest to! If you want a certain tattoo somewhere they'll tell you if it's a bad spot, they're not just all about the money. I wanted a tattoo on my finger and I was told not to waste my money because it's going to fade very fast and I'll have to keep getting it redone! I've gotten ink from other shops in the past (before Electric City was open) and after getting this one I'll never go anywhere else. I got my earlobes pierced, my first piercings, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. Eli was an awesome person who clearly knows what he's doing; I ordinarily get nervous around needles and things like that too, but his demeanor kept me from even thinking about it. Also, the place is super clean. Eli kept switching gloves and needles and wiped everything down as he went. I have one tattoo and one tattoo only. I was referred to electric city by a friend of mine and from the moment I called the dude who answered the phone referred me to a guy named Nick who proceeded to be incredibly helpful and professional. I happen to be one of the least artistically inclined people you'll ever meet and Nick was patient and extremely insightful when helping me design something that would look good and fit on my back well. I knew very little about shading or auxiliary artwork that could go around the actual text I wanted tattooed. Nick worked with me for almost an hour past the time he was supposed to leave on a Friday and a month later, when he finally had some time, tattooed an awesome piece on my back. Thousands of dollars spent on laser treatments and reworks, not to mention the years I've spent hating my own skin, I am writing this review. If you want a beautiful tattoo, do your research and do not be afraid to travel. Also, AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE. Mike Frenchko.... I am going to try to be an adult here. Mike talks a big game, but takes on projects that he is no where near capable of executing solely for financial gain. He does not care what he sends you out looking like as long as his pockets are lined. He also steals other artists work from the first page of Google search because he is too lazy and INCOMPETENT of creating original work. They are not artists, they are a bunch of wannabes and Mike is the worst of them all. So if you are satisfied with sub par to HIDEOUS tattoo work, by all means... After some looking around, I found a shop I was going to go to, but they were closed! Electric City was next on the list, but they should have been first! I live in Toronto but I'm from NEPA and make visits back home a few times a year. A couple years ago I was looking to get my first tattoo, and since it was going to be the outline of PA, I wanted to get it in the actual state. My best friend (who has like one jillion tattoos) lives in Scranton and told me to go to Electric City Tattoo. Elijah did my tattoo, and despite the fact that it only took about three minutes, I can say I would 100% recommend this place. Clean, comfortable, and professional. The prices are reasonable and they give great info on aftercare. I just booked some time to get another tattoo there, this time with Woody, and I'm looking forward to seeing what he draws up for me. My sister and I got our first tattoos together last week at Electric City, and I felt compelled to write a review about how fantastic our experience was.From the first phone call to inquire about appointments, to when we finally got the work done, everyone we dealt with was professional, courteous, and extremely accommodating.We had our tattoos done by Nick... and we LOVE them!  Also, not only is the ink perfect, but Nick was just awesome.  He was so friendly, made sure we were comfortable the whole time, and made us laugh during the "ouch" moments.  He's a true pro and an all around great guy!I would HIGHLY recommend Electric City (and Nick!) to anyone looking to get work done in NEPA.  Top notch shop guys, keep it up!
