I have spent 30 years regretting a tattoo on each lower forearm/ hand area and a homemade cross on my wedding ring finger. I went through a really shitty experience with Tatt2Away which left the tat on my left arm with keloids & no ink removed. I found Wes on Facebook. I travel from Cleveland to Pittsburgh & just had my 2nd treatment on my arms. He hit the bad homemade cross on my first treatment as a throw in & it has virtually disappeared. When he first did it, I cried be...cause it was gone & I wasn't embarrassed to wear my wedding ring & draw attention to it anymore. Each "big" treatment on my arms is mostly painless, redness fades after a day. I use Aquaphor as recommended by Wes as aftercare & it works great. The ink fades progressively with each treatment. Also, because Wes uses the same types of lasers as they use for scar therapy, some of the keloids have shrunk & are less painful & itchy (they won't ever go away forever). Wes has some great experience, has been working with lasers, in some capacity, for a long time, he's knowledgeable, kind, patient, and has great, reasonable prices. Wes was very upfront and honest about the treatment before he began, explaining the lev of pain I may experience. I was very nervous about getting the treatment done because I don't do well with pain. He eased my fear by describing step by step the process and feeling and even did a test before starting. He was very polite and courteous. He offered me a break about halfway through where he applied more ice to help the numbing process. My tattoo was a large portrait on my lower back and the process took about two minutes. I am very happy with my procedure. After one treatment, about six hours after the treatment I am already seeing results. I recommend Wes and his business to anyone looking to remove a tattoo! I will definitely be back for future work! This place is completely unsanitary. I went here at first, but once Wes, the owner tried to double my price midway through my treatment, I decided to look elsewhere. His "working area" is an old bathroom with a curtain for privacy. As far as where you sit, you straddle a chair. The rental space is filthy as well. Wes tried to screw me over by telling me he is losing money every time I walked into his store because he didn't charge me the right price.. well that isn't my problem. Once I put  up a bad review, he messaged me multiple times ( still have messages ) begging me to take down my reviews. No, I am not " another laser center"  giving him a bad review. I am a customer. I went to a professional location now, with nurses, a clean environment, and a legit company. Also, they have said TONs of his customers are coming to them due to their disappointment. Remember, cheap doesn't always mean good quality. He also tried to say his laser machine is the newest technology, which it is not. Although he has had friends post to make up for my bad review, the truth still comes out. As him being a so called "business owner" he doesn't seem to realize you are ripping your customers off by trying to tell them it's their fault you are losing money. What professional business man does that? They also play loud head banging music while you are in the room too. Yes, I did see a SMALL difference, and invested about $500 here, but I am only on my 4th appointment at my new laser center and it is halfway off. I feel compelled to start my review with a warning to all consumers.  Quite often when you see a negative review of a company it is written by the competition.  This is usually pretty easy to spot because they are curiously knowlegable of the industry for a non-professional and they will mention the company you should use instead.  Quite frankly, I use a company for their service, not their ability to trash talk.  If you have to bash the competition it rasies questions about how good your company really is.Plain and simple, the owner of Disappearing Ink is professional, knowlegable, and a big advocate of the local tattoo community.  He removed some of the biggest life mistakes from my skin at a very competitive price.  But judge for yourself, get a phone consultation and see what this company actually has to offer! I have a coworker who had/has this awful tribal band around his arm. He went to a place in Texas (where I spend about half my time due to work) to get it removed... He had 1 treatment and his arm bubbled and blistered and he refuses to have any more laser treatment done.Needless to say this made me not want to get this procedure done... However my tattoo was bad (my wife called it the "gay pride dragon")I spoke with countless artists who recommended getting it lightened before they covered it up.I went to disappearing ink after talking with my sister who had an ex go there.2 treatments later and I'm finally getting my dragon fixed!!!I won't say it was painless, I knew pain would be involved... Went to Disappearing Ink to get a tattoo removed from my inner ankle. I was shocked at how affordable it was compared to other quotes I received elsewhere.
