I met Jeff like 3 or 4 years before I went and got my first and only tattoo. When we first met, I told him I wanted a Krsna tattoo and we instantly bonded over it (he has a Krsna shrine in the shop!!) I knew he'd be the one to do it when I was finally ready. A month ago I went in to get my very first tattoo. I was nervous beyond all belief and nearly beside myself with it. Jeff, the owner of the shop, greeted me like an old friend and had me laughing through the nerves as he drew up my tattoo and those laughs continued even through the process of actually getting it done. Hanging out in the shop with him was so fun I decided to get a second tattoo on the spot. It took us a bit of time to work out what I wanted to get, but Jeff took my suggestions and ran with them and I left the shop with a grin on my face. Yesterday I spontaneously decided I wanted to get another tattoo. Again, I had no idea what to get but I knew I wanted it right away and I wanted it to be done by them. I was lucky enough to have Jeff help me out a second time, and, after hearing my suggestions and ideas, he came out with a truly gorgeous design. I love it so much I had to call him on the phone just to let him know. If you’re getting your first tattoo: come here. If you’re nervous or scared for any other reason: come here. I recently had a memorable experience at Seven Stars Tattoo with Jeff. I live in South Philly and left all the Philadelphia tattoo shops to come to Phoenixville for a tattoo during Nor' Eastern storm Quinn. Not only did he hand draw a custom Japanese Foo Dog for me, but he fixed another tattoo artist's tattoo that I was not satisfied with on the spot. He spent 5 hours with me and I could not be happier. I went into the shop as a walk-in and was greeted. Sat for a bit, then was asked what I wanted. I was given a time to come back which is all well and good. I appreciate them being conscious of my time. When I came back, the artist made my stencils (and they were beyond simple as I came with what I had wanted). He seemed pretty careless when putting them on as I had to ask him to replace them twice. It was fine line work but he assured me that he could do it. He used too large of a needle and the work looks extremely sloppy and the line quality is not very good. I have already made appointments to get them altered and fixed at another shop. Definitely upsetting to look at the piece I was so excited to get and feel only disappointment. Read Less

I love this place. Got a tattoo last night, my third from Seven Stars. The environment is clean, casual, and loads of fun. Got a tattoo from Jeff, the owner, he had me laughing the whole time---down to earth and likeable guys. Incredible experience. Fantastic work! When I stumbled onto them a couple years ago, the shop was friendly and felt more like family. I didn't feel like a customer. I felt like one of the tribe. After three tattoos there, I can honestly say in terms of the actual tattoo, I got more than I expected each and every time with moderate prices and a fun atmosphere. Every time I go in here, they are always awesome and both times I've gotten work done by either Dan or Jeff, I've been thrilled! I work at Charlotte Thomas Salon, and not only have my co-workers gotten beautiful work from both Jeff, and Dan, but I have as well. Another great experience at Seven Stars Tattoo and Art Gallery. I called this afternoon to see if there were any spots. I wanted to have two tattoos that I have had for decades refreshed. Jeff said that he would be able to get me in at 9. When I got there, he came over and explained that he was running late but, since I was grateful that he fit me in, I was more than happy to take a walk and come back. When it was my turn he exceeded my expectations and my refreshing was a complete renewal. First off... The things you need to know?Clean. Check.  Talented artists? Check. Really really good prices? Check. This was the best tattoo experience I've ever had.  I've been to artists all over Pennsylvania, Vermont, and North Carolina.  Jeff was without a shadow of a doubt, the nicest, most thoughtful, and easiest to deal with of any artist. Dont get me wrong, "tattitude" can be great. I once spent 7 hours being tattooed surrounded by my artists self proclaimed "most disturbing actions of G.G.Allen ever cought on film," photo collection.  Great dude, but the ambience of tons of photos of an overweight man eating feces was his wallpaper.  That sounded good to you? Don't fret, Seven stars is old school. Plenty of street cred here. They just respect their customers more than the average shop.  It very clearly shows.  If you want really great art at great prices from really great people? This is your shop. I live in center city Philadelphia and it was immediately clear after getting my first piece from Jeff Bradbury, yesterday, that I'd be making the trip to Phoenixville again soon.  If you don't get atleast one piece at Seven Stars with Jeff, you're missing out on one heck of a good time. My mom and I wanted to get tattoos to celebrate her birthday and called around to several shops in Royersford and Phoenixville. We found most shops to be reserved and not able to offer an appointment for our desired time. Yet when we called Jeff at Seven Stars he was accommodating to the point of being willing to look into his personal plans for that day to give us an appointment. Once there we were beyond happy with how things worked out. Jeff made us feel welcome and comfor...table from the time we walked in. The shop itself is clean with great art on the walls, but Jeff really is the shining star. He took our designs and reworked them to exactly what we wanted and was relaxed and friendly throughout. I decided on a foot tattoo which are notoriously painful, but Jeff worked so quickly and expertly, providing conversation the whole time, I was amazed when it was done in no time. Last night I had the honor of being tattooed by Jeff! He is such a gentle soul and an amazing artist. I usually can get stubborn in the ways of making a life long commitment (especially on my body), but I was humbled by the work that was done. Right off the bat I was in love with my sketch, every add on after that just made the tattoo come to life. Its almost as if he has known me for years or can read minds. So, this place is new but the tattoo artists aren't . Jeff, the one of the two artists is Philly-based and he and his partner really know what they're doing. Primarily american-traditional but after seeing Jeff's work this is where I'll go for my next tattoo! P.s.
