I'm am a 51 year old man and never had a tatoo. I went to show is Asbury convention center and walked around and looked at all of the artists there. I watched and learned since I do not know a lot about this since I would b getting my FIRST tatoo. When all said and done I sat down in Mike Nemos chair from 215 ink. My new favorite shop! I was going to the same shop for years, and each time the work got worse and worse. Inkwell was recommended to me by my Brother-in-law who got a tattoo there, when he stopped going to the place I was going to. I went as a walk in and was helped right away. I told my artist (Collie Mills) what I was looking for, and where I wanted it. I showed him a couple of references and he drew it up for me. It was exactly what I was thinking of, and the price was what I wanted to spend. The shop is very clean and the walls are covered in art work, which I believe is all for sale. It's a great little shop tucked away on Frankford ave. Will be going back soon for more. Very happy with them! Read Less

I got a tattoo here a month ago. I wanted a tattoo about a  mythical tree I had read about. I was my first tattoo. I was reccomended to this place by my boyfriend who got a tattoo done here. . It turned out great. I am an art student so I drew up a sketch for the tree . It was painful I will admit that . I got it on my wrist. The tree to me has a lot of meaning . It healed up very nicely & the guy gave me specific instructions on aftercare. I have seen a tattoo that my friend  got get infected & ruined almost immediately after it .
