He took his time to make sure the tattoo was placed correctly. He also did not rush to get my tattoo done even though it was a small tattoo. I was actually referred here by a lifelong friend's mom who grew up with Kier. Mike Flood did my tattoo a few weeks ago and it was an awesome experience. Very nice and professional guy! This was only my second tattoo and Mike did a great job explaining what to expect while getting tattooed and how to care for it afterwards. Gave me plenty of A&D cream to use while it healed. The location is beautiful and spotless! Mike took great care to make sure everything was sterilized. My tattoo came out beautifully and I couldn't be happier with it. In early 2006 I had a dream. A dream to spend my income tax on a tattoo. I wanted something incorporating the Star of David and fire. I went to Gemini (I wish I could remember who recommended the place, because I am glad they did) and told the guy what I wanted. I basically said I wanted the Star of David with flames behind it. I put $50 down and was told to come back in two weeks and they'd have something for me.I go back 2 weeks later and talked to Keir (I may be spelling his name wrong, sorry!) and he said he thought about it and he didn't think a Star of David on fire was the best way to go. I could have asked for my $50 back, said see ya and walked out. But I didn't. I saw this guys work and I wanted to get inked there. So we came up with a plan. Star of David with a chai (symbol of life) in the middle and he said I could have floating stars around it or some sort of a tribal thing going on around it. I went with the floating stars (glad I did). I did want fire/flames incorporated in the tattoo somewhere, so I asked that he fill in the tattoo with colors that made it sort of look like fire. Keir took really good care of me. I even got a little butterfly tattoo on my inner left wrist. I'm telling you, the butterfly hurt a hell of a lot more than the Star of David tattoo (see pics). The price was outstanding and reasonable. They were my 3rd and 4th tattoos and I was pleased. Even my mother was proud. And you know it's all about pleasing your Jewish mother! I do plan on getting back there, just to get it touched up a bit (it has faded and Kier did state I have lifetime maintenance!).I would highly recommend Gemini. They're clean, reasonable and friendly! Even after my tat was done, I was informed by a religious co-worker that one of the 'legs' of the chai was to be connected to the top of it.
