Sarah was freaking awesome. my friend and I went for piercings today and we were both super nervous. as soon as I met Sarah her vibe calmed me down right away. she explained everything she was doing as she did it. she answered all our dumb questions and you could tell she has a TON of knowledge about piercing. I am not one to write reviews but I have to say, this is one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had. I came in to the shop without an appointment to have a dermal piercing removed because the place I had gotten it done at has since closed. The woman at the front desk was very kind and scanned my license and had me fill out the appropriate paperwork. She informed me that there were two people ahead of me and asked if I wanted a drink while I waited. I was extremely nervous until I found out the piercer who had originally done the piercing was now the owner of this shop! She brought me back to a private room and was THE SWEETEST!!! Sarah made me feel so comfortable as I was nervous and embarrassed about how infected my piercing was. She removed it without any pain and it was so fast! She made sure I understood the post op instructions before I left. Once I was finished, the front desk told me there was no charge for the visit. That was soooo nice! Not often do you find nice people like that these days. Needless to say, I will recommend Black Cat Collective to anyone looking for a tattoo or piercing! Will definitely be back again. Black Cat is the best place around. The whole shop is just absolutely amazing. You can just feel the family they are when you walk in. I go to Honest Josh for all my tattoos and he hands down is the best. He takes my ideas and takes them to a place I can never imagine. I have never used any of the other tattoo artists but I've seen them work and can imagine they are equally amazing. Sarah has done all my piercings. She is great and so sweet. I've gone to Sarah for all of my piercings which are now 7. She has incredible experience and each one has always turned out perfect, none of them have ever gotten infected two areas in particular I hear my friends having problems with infections or rejecting are the nostril and naval, none of mine have ever been infected or rejected and they are all perfectly healthy. She truly cares about you and your specific anatomy and will give as much time as needed to ensure the best possible piercing. Not only is she an excellent piercer and person she is also honest with you, for instance my septum is deviated and she made sure to tell me before she pierced me this may cause it to become crooked, and despite this gave me a very symmetrical and happy septum piercing. All in all everyone there including the receptionists and tattoo artists are very friendly, helpful, and clean. I recommend black cat to everyone. Read Less

Such a great local place to get a tattoo or piercing. I got a tattoo here a year or so ago by Bob Kerr and he did an excellent job. The building and work space is clean, well managed, nice employees and above all they do amazing work. I have a few friends who have also gotten tattoos here and everything I have seen is done well. I have recently fallen in love with Black Cat! About a week ago I stopped in just to have a jewelry change done on piercings I had previously had done else where, and this is where my love began everyone is was helpful and friendly and Sarah was awesome. Everyone asks "what's a great place for piercings?" My answer is ALWAYS Black Cat. My experience is always 5 stars, it's clean, relaxed, and everyone is awesome!
