Last week I had an older, faded, all around sad looking (DONE ELSEWHERE!) tattoo covered up and added to by Anastasia G, all her own beautiful design (see comments below for photo). I can't even begin to describe how happy I am with how it turned out, and it's not even past the early, ugly healing stage! Her work is amazing - she is a true artist in all that she does. Yesterday was the first time I had ever met Anastasia but she made it feel like we had known each other forever! Throughout my entire appointment she made me feel extremely comfortable and we had great conversation the entire time. She made she I knew exactly what was going on and explained everything that was happening. My dad decided to come along with me and she even made it a priority to make sure he was comfortable and was joking around with him as well! When I sent her ideas of what I was looking for, it was almost as if she was in my head and knew exactly what I would love. I've never been happier with the quality of work, time, and effort spent on the tattoo that Anastasia did for me. She added her own style to a drawing that I loved and made it even better! The first session of my tattoo took about 4 hours, but it felt like 10 minutes! Anastasia made sure I knew what was happening throughout the entire tattoo. My tattoo required incredible detail, and I could tell that Anastasia was prepared to put in the time and effort to make it look great! I had too many questions to count and worried about being 'that customer' who is uneducated and flat out annoys you with dumb questions. Annie lets you know that your voice is heard. She listens and pays attention to every detail, every specific request. She makes sure that your tattoo is tailored to YOU and what you want. The entire shop from the owner down creates an atmosphere of warmth ...and welcoming. I drove an hour+ and it was well worth it. I would have paid double what I did solely because of the personalized experience and the genuine connection alone, but that doesn't even touch on the artistic talent Annie has to offer. My boyfriend and I came all the way to littlestown from Parkville, MD, just for the loving and fun experience you get when being tattooed by Anastasia. She is so intuitive about what the client wants that it almost feels like she's in your head when you're trying to describe colors and designs to her. I've gotten two tattoos from Anastasia, both of which are amazing, and fairly large pieces. She has an amazing eye for detail and is very skilled in her work. My ankle is a work in progress, but she free-handed everything, and the detail is immaculate. It's always a pleasure going to Anastasia, and I'm excited to go back to her for more work.
