Red Lotus has been my go-to for piercings (and now tattoos) for the past few years. I've gotten piercings at a couple of other shops (Infinite in Philly and Liberty in Skippack), and none of them made me as happy as Red Lotus has. The shop is clean, well lit, and has a nice atmosphere. (They also play really great music, which is cool when you're stuck in a chair for a few hours!) The staff is friendly, kind, and super accommodating. I can't stress that enough. When I came in to get my nose pierced, I already had my nostril done, but I wanted another one above the existing piercing. When I explained what I wanted to Eva, she was happy to do it for me and it turned out great. I went quite a while without going into Red Lotus because I wasn't sure what I wanted. Then, a few months ago, Dan Mugrauer posted a flash sheet on Instagram that was inspired by a few of my favorite bands, and I was quick to email him about getting one of the pieces on my shoulder. After quite a few emails, we set a date and I went in to get it done. Dan is a super friendly, incredibly talented, and kind person. The tattoo he did for me turned out exactly as I had hoped. I liked it so much that I made another appointment with him and had another tattoo within less than a month. The second one was a custom piece. I told him what I wanted, showed him a few similar pieces that I liked, and he drew a design up. When the tattoo was done - I was ecstatic. It was just like what I would imagine finding the perfect wedding dress to be like. I had an idea of what I wanted, and the finished piece completely blew me away. It was exactly what I wanted and more.Looking forward to getting a lot more done by the awesome folks at Red Lotus in the future! Read Less
