I got a tattoo a couple weeks ago by one of the artists there and he really messed up my leg unfortunately this is a large tattoo so this is going to be hard to cover up or remove so now I have to live with this for the rest of my life. I was in bed devastated for days after I got it done. I don't want people seeing my leg. Red Lotus did nothing even after I called them to try and remedy the situation the only thing they did was tell me of a tattoo removal service. I am appalled at the lack of customer service and the lack of talent/professionalism and I strongly urge people to think twice before using this shop. I had a cover up done by Hayli, and I absolutely LOVE IT!! After about a year, there were a few areas that needed to be touched up that could still be seen from the old tattoo. Red Lotus got me in, and Hayli did my touch ups to keep her work looking absolutely amazing! I have gotten so many compliments on my beautiful tattoo. My only regret is not having found Red Lotus for my tattoos sooner! I have two others, but I've never recieved compliments on them quite like I have with Hayli's work. Rob is not only an unbelievable artist he is an unbelievable man! Along with the crew he has working with him. This is someone who not only cares deeply about his customers but, his community and people in general! I honestly don't think you'll find a cleaner shop or one more aesthetically pleasing! Art is his business and he's one of the best and it seems that people are his passion and he absolutely knows how to treat them. I highly recommend you stop here first on your quest for ink and if it's also your last stop there is no doubt in my mind that you will be more than just satisfied. I never thought I would ever get one especially now at my age, but I finally bit the bullet and got my 1st tattoo. My daughter highly recommended the Red Lotus so she took me. I truly hate needles with a passion, but Kendra, my tattoo artist was awesome. She knew how scared I was and made a point to make my experience calming and tranquil. I started coming here when I followed my artist Dan (Schmiedel) from his last shop and to make a long story short, I love this place. I've gotten tattooed by Dan, AJ, and most recently, Tayo. I have 3 appointments booked at this shop simultaneously for the next couple months and I wouldn't want to spend my money any other way. So many people I talk to go here and it's nice to be in a tattoo shop where everyone is attentive and personable. My wife and I went in for a couples tattoo with Kendra. We went in with a basic idea and asked her to come up with her unique spin on what we wanted. When we arrived for our appointment she completely knocked in out of the park. We didn't need to change anything about what she came up with. Now we have a 100% completely original tattoo for each of us. The shop was immaculately clean, everyone there was super friendly and the layout of the place was awesome. Was referred there by a co worker and I am very happy I did, I thought the first tattoo I had looked great but Robs work is clearly a step above, Rob did a phenomenal on his first piece on me  and the second one he is doing is looking just as great. I've been getting tattooed since I was 18 and Red Lotus has done it best. Dan Mugrauer AKA DMUG is the best artist I've worked with both on a professional level as well as being a great guy! He has done nothing short of amaze me every time I get tattooed and my tats are even recognized out in public by his large number of Instagram followers. The staff is awesome and is always dropping in to see the status of the work and the atmosphere is very relaxed. It's a great place for your first tattoo or to continue a sleeve. Dan Mugrauer is the man to go to!!!!!!!!!!! He has done 3 tattoos on me and I am absolutely in LOVEEEEE with them. His artwork, personality, professionalism, humor, and talent is as good as it gets. I will NEVER let anyone else do my tattoos because he is the only person I trust. He also doesn't make anything awkward at all. I thought at first it was going to be awkward since I didn't know him the first time and it was gonna be dead silent, but no. He is so sweet, funny, and will engage in all types of conversations. Red Lotus has been my go-to for piercings (and now tattoos) for the past few years. I've gotten piercings at a couple of other shops (Infinite in Philly and Liberty in Skippack), and none of them made me as happy as Red Lotus has. The shop is clean, well lit, and has a nice atmosphere. (They also play really great music, which is cool when you're stuck in a chair for a few hours!) The staff is friendly, kind, and super accommodating. I can't stress that enough. When I came in to get my nose pierced, I already had my nostril done, but I wanted another one above the existing piercing. When I explained what I wanted to Eva, she was happy to do it for me and it turned out great. I went quite a while without going into Red Lotus because I wasn't sure what I wanted. Then, a few months ago, Dan Mugrauer posted a flash sheet on Instagram that was inspired by a few of my favorite bands, and I was quick to email him about getting one of the pieces on my shoulder. After quite a few emails, we set a date and I went in to get it done. Dan is a super friendly, incredibly talented, and kind person. The tattoo he did for me turned out exactly as I had hoped. I liked it so much that I made another appointment with him and had another tattoo within less than a month. The second one was a custom piece. I told him what I wanted, showed him a few similar pieces that I liked, and he drew a design up. When the tattoo was done - I was ecstatic. It was just like what I would imagine finding the perfect wedding dress to be like. I had an idea of what I wanted, and the finished piece completely blew me away. Totally lovely. I chose this place because I knew they had a female piercer, which mattered to me. I went here to get a septum piercing, which I'd never had before, and Eva, the staff piercer, was sweet, professional, and efficient -- just perfect. She did a great job, made me feel at ease, and the piercing didn't hurt at all. She also steered me away from the jewelry I wanted, suggesting a different type that she said tended to heal better. It's been several weeks now and I've had no problems with healing and am very pleased with my piercing. Everyone on staff was friendly and kind and helped me feel at ease, and the studio itself is pretty and cool-looking. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to get pierced, and I plan to go back myself soon to get a change of jewelry and possibly a new piercing. Great all-around experience. I have many tattoos from all over the world. Some awesome and some... eh... I know good artists from bad. My nephew wanted me to buy him his first tattoo as a graduation gift. I live in DC, so didn't know any of the artists in the area. With a little research I found these guys. My brother, my nephew and I all got tattoos. The artists, Christina and Corin, were very accommodating. We gave them the artwork and they made very slight modifications, but really listened to what we wanted. Christina did a bad ass swallow on me. I couldn't be happier with it. Corin was really cool to my brother and nephew. And he did a great job. It was a great experience for their first tattoos. I remember my first tattoo. It was a pretty shitty one and I remember the artist being a pretentious prick. These guys are super cool and reasonable. I highly recommend them. Read Less

I'm sure that the art they do here is great.I scheduled an appointment with Christina to get my first tat done and she seemed very nice. Unfortunately, the night before my appointment my mother was in the emergency room and the day of my appointment, I had to work late. As soon as I got home from work, exhausted and trying to care for my sick mother, my cell phone rang. Christina reminded me of the appointment that I was now fifteen minutes late for. I apologized profusely for not having been able to call, explained my situation, and told her that I would not be able to make the appointment. I've been receiving Tattoo's from owner Rob Fiore for quite some time--he has left the Ink Well in Montgomeryville to open up his own tattoo shop in Lansdale. The shop is gorgeous, with private areas for tattooing while still maintaining an open, clean and professional atmosphere. The facilities are undoubtedly safe, sterile, and equipped with state of the art equipment, and the best artists in the area. This past Friday I received a tattoo on my ribs/side area from Corin, a great artist at this new facility--he took my draft and stayed true to it's design and integrity creating a truly custom piece reflective of what I wanted it to look like. He was surprisingly gentle, and made me extremely comfortable during the entire process. The skilled artists at the shop are all extremely friendly and take the time to really explain everything for you. They definitely are the best in the area!
