I have tattoo,s fro Viet Namn that weren't looking so good so after a MESS made when owned by Amber, Since Rafael bought the shop and hired INK MASTER artist Julia Carlson, Samantha, Nikki and some fantastic apprentices who are excellent artist this is FAAAAAR fromwhat it once was. we started fishing a 30 yo tattoo and Julia was able to make it look better than it did new, she then fixed a few more and one ata a time they looked perfect, As a gift I got my wife got her first a very can't feminine wrist bracelet...julia made from an idea my wife had and then Julia's interpretation....hint,,, co e with an idea but listen to the artist who knows how certainco,ors and certain places are a better canvas than others.....allow the artist to be an artist, Of you,re just picking Skull # 12 out of a book anyone can do that...but here it is BODY ART Julia is now 14 hours into a cover up that looks amazing, a hard working woman who is great at aher job and a good person...( so tip well) What most people wonder about is health concerns n safety, well ever there are NO worries, all machines are new and Top of the Line, cleanliness is very important and a NEW needle is used for each job it does and there ink is TOP QULAITY! Also after you,re Don, there NO Saran Wrap but an expensive surgical wrap, that promotes healing n keeps bascertia away, withina weel you canu wrap it and be thrilled out your new body expression The artists at Blue Velvet are well versed in Traditional, Japanese, Tribal, Skulls, pictures and Nikki is a well educated piercist and top quality studs are used to ensure no problems This is the perfect place for HONEST feedback and a lot of repeat customers. And a friendly atmosphere ... I would recommend this shop to anyone looking for quality body art!!! please ensure your time n leave a deposit, and don't screw your Artist by not showing up, it's just rude.. Julia was so incredibly nice !! She was careful and very gentle which I appreciated since this was my first tattoo. I am in love with it and I cannot thank her enough ! The shop is very clean and the atmosphere is very peaceful. I was even aloud to rub one of her polished rocks which helped for the parts that hurt a bit. Working on a half sleeve, julia did the 1st, raf did the second session.. i wont lie he intimidated me when i was in for the 1st session with julia, but after yesterday... � love him! So humble so kind, and AMAZING at what he does! You couldnt even tell 2 different people did the work on my arm! I had rave reviews all day and constantly heard how clean his lines are! Id reccomend him or julia anytime To anybody and wouldnt have a doubt that they would leave feeling anything less than thrilled! I found my shop, i found my go to artist! Rafael did amazing shading work on my upper back. And gave my hubby a sick lower arm dragon (Sue also did his a back piece). He even let me host a tattoo party at the shop for a girls night out.
