Would not recommend. I got my nose pierced there and followed all the instructions I was given, my nose was infected and swollen within a week. I waited over a year to write this review so my nose could heal and I could go elsewhere to get it pierced so the review would be accurate. If you want a piercing don't overpay for such horrible quality. I have found a great shop that would do the piercing cheaper and safer. Read Less

I came with a friend who got her nipples pierced and I got an intimate piercing. Wayne was horrible (extremely rude, condescending... not knowledgeable of his craft).     First he chastised me regarding my choice --- vertical clit hood (he said no one does that- it's only horizontal). I should have walked out right then. He didn't ask about types of rings, and I ended up with a severe infection/reaction. I had to go to Addictive Expressions to get it removed. They were horrified and reminded me that I could have lost all sensation since he did it completely wrong. The technique was not even remotely correct. How dare he perform it if he didn't know what he was doing and risk my own safety because of his EGO!     My friend's nipple rings were also crooked, but she was not going to go through that again! He's sloppy! And the expense and humiliation of all of that!I have been to 2 tattoo/piercing parlors since this incident where I felt so violated. I am so grateful to say that they were so professional!     I am about to get daith piercings, now. Obviously forget Cityline, I wouldn't trust them. Read Less

I have gotten 3 well should I say 7 peircings at city line and they all healed terrific. I think that a person or persons now ah days that want a tattoo just say oh I like this can I get it now.. N that leaves the artist with no real time to drawl it up and get an approval, what r they to do? say okay come on. If that's what the customer wants I'm pretty sure they do it.. but instead of rushing things... people should be patient all things have a process!!!! As far as the apprentice goes they r there to learn so what do u expect? I think its the customers fault for not asking questions and asking for past designs and or credibility.. All artists have to start somewhere.. These reviews really got to me.. I'm amazed people go out of there way to bash places but yet its usually the customers fault BE PATIENT n let the artist tell u when its a good time.. I've been waiting over a month for a neck/chest piece to b drawn up n yeah so what, that's my choice I could rush him n then get bad results.. All great things take time n also I'm not sitting here complaining that its takin so long I want it to be 100% perfect before putting permanent things on my body... Anyway I think everyone at city line is well more then capable of doing amazing things, you just have to b patient.. its a tattoo!!!!!!! not a piercing.. I had a review removed because it didn't provide enough detail. I believe that it was removed because I have it a poor rating.  So here's a better review.  I had 2 tattoos done at city line,both by the same person.  The tattoos came out fine since they were just learning.  I didn't really like the place at all,  it didn't at all sterile. You have 3 tattooing chairs right near each other.  The artist I went to doesn't work there anymore, and the other one that was their also left.  That tells you how that shop is.  The pricing was ok, I felt bad that the shop took so much and you kind a have to give extra for the artist. A $90 tattoo would be split about 60/40. Read Less

since the owner is more worried about his reviews than giving proper customer service, I would never recommend this place. went in with 3 others to get a tattoo unknowingly from a supposed apprentice, (btw who's master was not in the building) and only one of us ended up getting a tattoo bc the tattoo was so poor the rest of us backed out. and rather than trying to make it right, the owner sent through email about our previous review on this page rather than rectifying the issue. this is obviously permanent and whoever does a tattoo should have the confidence and ability to perform. if you're going to have someone learning it should be stated and someone should be willing to fix this mistake. unfortunately this place is not. so it's going to cost more money to go elsewhere to get it done right. I've had one piercing and one tattoo done here. The owner Wayne did both of them. When I first went in for my piercing, on a $20 piercing day, I felt out of place as soon as I set foot in the shop. I felt like I didnt belong there because of the attitude he puts off it feels like you are trespassing on his terroritory. He was very brusque, almost to the point of rudeness. My piercing was just fine, healed well and still looks great. BUT he did not ask me or my friend what kind of ring we would've liked to wear in our fresh piercings and instead picked them out himself. This bothered my friend more than I, as hers was an eyebrow ring and mine an ear piercing. Still, it was very inconsiderate. I decided to give it another go here, thinking I just caught him on an off day. Boy, was I wrong. He must have a consistent off day. When I went back for my tattoo, again, the same feelings of uneasiness as soon as I walked in. I was nervous the entire time because Wayne does not like to talk much, and again extremely brusque. There are some minor mistakes in my tat I would love to have fixed, but I won't be returning here for it. My advice to you is to skip the cheap piercing day and get your tats elsewhere. When I go for a tattoo or piercing, I am looking for someone who genuinely wants to give you the best experience possible. This is not the case here. Get in, get out. I have had five piercings by Tony. The first two were in my nose (same side) and the other three were in my ear (triple forward helix). He is fantastic! I've read a lot about cartilage piercings with many people commenting on how painful they are. I've also heard horror stories about piercings that got infected. Tony has a very calm and professional approach to piercing. He puts you at ease due to his 18 years experience. The piercing room is clean, gloves are used, needles & jewelry are brand new in a sealed bag; this is of utmost importance. As a result, pain was minimal and very tolerable with no infections at any of the piercing sites. Follow his instructions on the aftercare of your piercings and you should not have any problems. My only negative comment is related to nose screws. In my opinion, they hurt like hell when you try to change them. My solution to this nose screw situation is not to use them and go with an "L" shaped nose stud. Unfortunately, initial piercings with a nose stud, utilize nostril screws; just grin and bear it. I did not have this issue with my nose hoop. As a result of my favorable experience at City Line Tattoo, I would highly recommend Tony for any piercing. Read Less
