Went in for a consultation a while ago and asked for some crystals that looked like they were growing out of the ground. The girl told me it would look weird because thats not what crystals look like and i really had to try not to laugh because i think she actually believed crystals just come out looking like perfect wand form and not growing clusters. Anyways it was unperfessional so i just left. Also my friend asked for like five tiny paw prints and she said it would cost like 200 to 250. Ive gotten a tattoo the size of two fists together for that price. Completely unbelievable. Went to black cat instead and got great prices and tattoos. Heard that chris guy is super good though. Chris Mesi does great work, if you're a nerd for anime, or like gamer culture he's your guy. If youre more into darker art theres another artist here who does kick ass occult ink. Great atmosphere and good idea to have a movie on for the customers. These guys do it right. Read Less

I only met Rich from a flash sale; but getting to see the rest of his portfolio had me in love with his dark/demented kind of style. Having started my sleeve a couple years ago and my old artist falling through, Rich was very reassuring of the endless of possibilities to transform it into something out of this world. Having talking to him while visiting, his admiration for line-work, especially with the intricate style he has, had me in a sort of state of epiphany that there'...s finally a place to go where the artists actually pay such close attention to detail. Having seeing the rest of the portfolios while first arriving, they have a pretty diverse crew that can offer just about anything to anyone. The icing on the cake was how home-like it was, and how comfortable the atmosphere was. Well kept, some collectibles on the shelves because everyone has to nerd out once in a while, etc.. I could not say enough good things about Relic. I got my first tattoo done by Alisha here and she did a PHENOMENAL job. I told her I wanted a gypsy rat and gave her full reign to come up with the design and it was perfect. She was so sweet and lovely and everyone else at the shop was great as well, I felt really comfortable and at home there. Do not ever go to Tattoo Alley or Relic Tattoo in Horsham. I went and got a tattoo at Tattoo Alley and the first time I went there I told the artist what I wanted he said ok gave me a price etc etc. Came back a 3rd time after 2 times of line shading and some coloring and the artist told me he couldnt do anymore and by this time I had a random flower on the inside of my arm which I didnt ask for but the artist told me he would incorporate a skull which I wanted but now he was ...telling me he couldnt! Pissed at this point I talked to the owner or refused to help or do anything for me I left so upset and pissed. I went to Relic and asked if they can do a cover up on the random rose with a skull. The artist said yes and I set up an appointment put down my deposit etc etc. A week later which is today got a call saying they couldnt do the cover up and to come pick up my deposit and they would tell me y they couldnt do it. I went their on my lunch break and the receptionist told me the other shop caught wind of where I was going for my cover up, which I have no idea how they figured it out unless the artist from Relic talked to the other guy about me which is confidential so that was broken! And that the artist from relic tattoo is friends with the other guy so he wouldnt do it! Really?! I just wanted to let people know that they have a group in the area that talk 2 each other and stuff! They might be great artists but they will lie cheat and steal from u! Just wanted to give people a heads up! Well Rich Wren has been doing my tattoos since well over ten years and I love all the work he's done on me all these years. His shop "Relic" is I think his best move and it shows in his work and the fine artists he has there. Just had my right shoulder done yesterday and it looks amazing! I got a tattoo today by Jessie, a Japanese proverb written in Kanji. Beautiful work! The placement on my shoulder blade is perfect, it came out just the way I wanted it and just as good as I had hoped! It is my first tattoo so I didn't know exactly what to expect, but from the time I walked in the idea that it might not come out well didn't even cross my mind. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly (the Violent Femmes CD in the background was a definite plus!) and all the artists there were professional and seemed to really take their time to be sure they did quality work. Right now I have no plans to get another tattoo, but if I ever do decide to get another one I'll be going back to Relic. Read Less
