My sister wanted to get a tattoo, (she's never had one). She inquired on Monday about setting up an appointment for Friday. She was told by Pat that Friday is an "open day" which meant that no appointment was necessary. Pat even confirmed that info for her. So, today, my brother who flew up from Florida took my sister to the shop to get a tattoo to commerate the Eagles Super Bowl win. It is his birthday gift to her! They arrived at noon which is the opening time for the shop. The shop was not open! They waited and at 12:20 a guy named Josh opened up. My brother and sister went in and were told by Josh that he could not be of service to them. Josh arrogantly told them: "I am an artist and no one makes appointments for me! I make appointments for me"! Josh rudely explained that he had an appointment at 1:30 so would not be able to take her. HE NEVER OFFERED AN ALTERNATIVE!!! If Josh was in a bad mood he had no right to take it out on my sister! She did tell him that she was going to give a bad review on their web site and he just "shrugged" like no big deal!!! In my opinion this is no way for a potential client to be treated!!! JOSH needs to come down off his self built pedestal because there are plenty of artist who would love to have my sister's business!!! My sister is a Havertown resident and always buys from and supports local businesses!!! She'll be spreading the word about how disrespectfully she was treated as will I. Obviously, Havertown Electric Tattoo doesn't need clients! Evidently they get enough!!! As you can see below their web site logo clearly states that WALK-INS ARE WELCOME!!!

I have three old tattoos I wanted to get re-inked and talk about getting three new ones so I stopped in last night. Brain and Fritz initially didn't seem convinced the re-ink job would come out too well but Brian did an amazing job. Honestly I am happier withy tattoos now than when they were new! I was also more that pleased with the price. The shop is clean, neat, well lit and friendly. I'm looking forward to scheduling my new tattoos!!!

Stopped by for a walk-in from Nate! He was accommodating and drew up my request with no problem. He was super friendly throughout and made me feel comfortable despite drilling a thousand tiny pomegranate seeds into my arm :) I get a ton of compliments on how well-done his piece is. Love this place! This was my first time there but my second tattoo and it was a more enjoyable experience then my first and better priced then the other places I had checked out. These guys were Friendly and creative and took my idea and design I wanted and brought it to life. This place was also clean organized and not as busy as most places are with the decor and what not so it was easy to think clearly and no really loud obnoxious music like some places have(bonus points!). I Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quality nice local tattoo shop! οΏ½οΏ½

I went in for my second tattoo at Haverford Electric today. I fully admit to not being terribly experienced in this and I told them when I walked in that I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted beyond the text and general location on my body. The artist I talked to did discuss my options with me, but I needed to pick out a font. Note that I had called in a few days ago to make an appointment and was told that walk-ins were preferred.
They use a computer to help with fonts that they don't draw by hand. Unfortunately it stopped working and we couldn't change the text back to the font I liked. This wasn't their fault and I couldn't figure it out either.
Here's where things get upsetting. He did not seem to even remotely care that I wasn't going to be able to get my tattoo today. I asked what they would normally do in the case of this happening and the artist said he would draw it. I asked if he remembered what the font I liked looked like. He just flat out said no and didn't offer to help me further. I mentioned that it was disappointing because I was looking forward to getting it done today. He replied "well sometimes things just aren't in the cards." Maybe he was annoyed at me or just didn't like me, but dismissing me without even a slight apology like that was extremely unprofessional and made me feel very uncomfortable. I won't be returning.

I can't believed I stumbled upon this amazing tattoo shop. It was 8 mins away from my home and easy to find. It's super clean and there's a small parking lot in front. I thought I wouldn't be able to get my tattoo on a random Wednesday and these guys made it happen! They're professional, informative but oh so cool. It took all of 10 mins and I was done. I so love my new ink. They have a minimum of $60 which is way cheaper than most places and they do some amazing work. Will be coming here for rest of my ink!!!

I went here in January of 2015 to get my first tattoo of an olive wreath on my shoulder. The staff there could have been nicer and they sort of made me feel awkward about my inexperience with tattoos as if I was inconveniencing them with my specific requests/ questions. This is going to be on my body for the rest of my life after all. After a couple weeks my tattoo started fading. The tattoo cost $120 which is definitely overpriced for the size of the tattoo that I got. So in April I finally went back for a touch-up which was a free guarantee so that was good. I still received a mild attitude from the different guy who did the touch-up this time around simply because I was inquiring about the color of my tattoo and I wanted to make sure that the grey color would stay vibrant. Overall I am happy with the way my tattoo looks like now but for anyone who is getting Β a tattoo for the first time and wants a cooperative tattoo artist with reliable work at a good price, this may not be the best place for you.

Very psyched that the owners of Glenside Tattoo have opened a second location in Havertown. Β I got tattooed there and I LOVE IT! Β This shop is super nice, super clean and everyone who works there are professional and really nice. Β Getting a tattoo can be sketchy, it's nice to know there are some great shops like this one with a good reputation and trustworthy, experienced artists so you know you'll get an awesome tattoo. I thought I wouldn't be able to get my tattoo on a random Wednesday and these guys made it happen! They're professional, informative but oh so cool. It took all of 10 mins and I was done. I so love my new ink. They have a minimum of $60 which is way cheaper than most places and they do some amazing work. Will be coming here for rest of my ink!!!

I went here in January of 2015 to get my first tattoo of an olive wreath on my shoulder. The staff there could have been nicer and they sort of made me feel awkward about my inexperience with tattoos as if I was inconveniencing them with my specific requests/ questions. This is going to be on my body for the rest of my life after all. After a couple weeks my tattoo started fading. The tattoo cost $120 which is definitely overpriced for the size of the tattoo that I got. So in April I finally went back for a touch-up which was a free guarantee so that was good. I still received a mild attitude from the different guy who did the touch-up this time around simply because I was inquiring about the color of my tattoo and I wanted to make sure that the grey color would stay vibrant. Overall I am happy with the way my tattoo looks like now but for anyone who is getting Β a tattoo for the first time and wants a cooperative tattoo artist with reliable work at a good price, this may not be the best place for you.

Traveled 2 hours to see Steve F. at Electric Tattoo and it was worth it. Their shop is clean and professional. Love talking to Steve and his tattoos are beautiful. Will keep coming back:)

Very psyched that the owners of Glenside Tattoo have opened a second location in Havertown. Β I got tattooed there and I LOVE IT! Β This shop is super nice, super clean and everyone who works there are professional and really nice. Β Getting a tattoo can be sketchy, it's nice to know there are some great shops like this one with a good reputation and trustworthy, experienced artists so you know you'll get an awesome tattoo. Β Check them out! Β They pierce too!
