2stars instead of 1 because the design is beautiful but my artist Brett was Unprofessional. I Was rescheduled an hr and a half before appt time because artist was “exhausted” Then was almost rescheduled a second time until I said I wouldn’t come in if I was rescheduled again. Sat in waiting room for two hrs while tattoo was being put together on iPad and this is time I’m paying for. I thought a deposit was for the tattoo to be drawn and to save my time slot, apparently it’s not done that way there. You sit and pay 150$ an hr for an artist to take two hrs to put together a design. My appt was at 1 tattoo actually started at 3, every hour he took a smoke break again this is time I’m paying for. Total tattooing time including smoke breaks and time to eat pizza was 4 an 1/2 hrs but charged for an “all day” time slot. Which cost 900$. Was told to come back in for second sitting to add white and touch up previous tattoo that I was adding this to. So I try to make the appt with him thru Facebook b/c that’s what I was told to do by him took 3 days for a response and when I said that day won’t work took another two or three days for another response. Because quote “ my phones not glued to my hand 24/7”. When I told him he was acting unprofessional he wrote a mile long Facebook message pretty much making me feel like an artists time and money is so much more valuable than mine. And pretty much called me a liar saying he didn’t say there was another sitting. That’s funny because it was even written in the post he posted of my tattoo “second sitting to tighten things up” I just paid a thousand dollars to be tattooed and was treated like I was getting a favor done for me. I paid for the time, overpaid for the time actually that i was being tattooed. I was going to just let everything go until I got that last message. There’s only so much unprofessionalism one can take before you get yourself a bad review. I love the design. Brett’s good but not that good to go thru all that aggravation. I’ll pay someone else that is more professional and takes my time and money into consideration to finish what I wanted done.

Jam did my tattoo yesterday and I absolutely LOVE it. Originally went for an underboob, ended up doing a chest piece after we talked and came up with my design. Best desicion EVER. lol. The studio is very clean. Jam was incredibally sanitary and made sure I was completely comfortable and treated me like a friend he knew forever. I will forever recommend Gypsy Skull and will forever go to Jam for my work.

My corgi puppy passed away on Saturday morning and I got into get tattooed by Jamie and I am beyond amazed and happy with the work he did. I’ve only had three other small tattoos done by someone else but I will always go back to this shop. Loved the atmosphere and Jaime was awesome. 10/10 would recommend always.

I am not local to the area, but after seeing the artist's portfolios, I decided to make the trip to get my next tattoo here. I am so happy I did! I worked with Tiffany and she was amazing. She worked quickly, always checked up on me to make sure I was doing ok, and was very easy to talk to and work with. The price was amazing as well! There can be a long wait for tattoos, depending on which artist you want to work with, but I promise the wait is so worth it!

I happened upon Gypsyskull when looking for ideas for my next tattoo. After viewing the artist's portfolios, I was blown away, and I knew I had to get my next tattoo here! I saw Tiffany's stencils she would like to tattoo, and fell in love with one, and right away went in to set up my appointment! The wait was long, but so worth it. Tiffany was amazing, very easy to talk to and always checking to make sure I was doing ok. I am so happy with her work, I will definitely be coming back!

I went on the recommendation of a friend. I've been wanting a tat for 30 years. I had a mild heart attack last week and I decided to finally do it. I just happened to go in during a flash sale so it was extremely busy. But they took the time to set me up with an artist who was very helpful in assisting me to decide on my first tattoo. I was so impressed with them I stayed and got one of the flash tattoos. The amount of detail that was put into an inexpensive tattoo made me decide my friend was right and I found the place to do my main one. I would highly recommend you to at least check them out, they are all very courteous and knowledgeable.

2017 "flash" sale, more like "snail" sale. I've been to flash sales before, even Gypsy skull's first black friday sale but this was by fair the longest wait for nothing. I waited 4 hours in line at this years "flash" sale and was still a good 2 hours from getting in the door and another hour or so to even get sat down. They took 1 person every hour for piercings and about 6 people every 2 hours or so for tattoos. $40 tattoo for a 5+ hour wait, i dont think so.

Just got started on my sleeve and so far it’s only the line work and it’s already my favorite tattoo! The staff in general was impressive. Walk in the door and see that everyone was in scrubs and of a uniform appearance. I will recommend anyone looking for friendly professional work to be done to go to gypsy skull tattoo first! BE AWARE, THIS IS NOT SE JOLIE'S WEBSITE and the Business hrs. are not correct!! They are open FROM 10-7PM Tuesday to Friday, Saturday 9-3 and closed Sunday and Monday. not sure who posted these hrs, I know for a fact no one at Se Jolie posted them. They have moved back to their main location at 332 E. Middle Street in Hanover.
Anyways, just give them a try if you are looking for better prices.

Great place to get a tattoo, very clean and professional. Mikey is a great artist and I was very pleased with the whole tattoo experience. I also have a tattoo that I wasn't 100% happy with from another shop and Brian was able to fix it no problem. Overall professional place that I will definitely recommend to others in the future. I will definitely be going here for tattoos in the future.

Been there several times now. Everyone is so friendly and professional. Love this place and love the artists that I've met. You won't be disappointed if you give this place a try. I love every tattoo I've gotten there. Can't wait to come back for another visit. The artist that done work on me was Jamie Farley. He does great work and he loves what he does. Any one you get when you make an appointment, you are guaranteed to have a great time. So im giving this place 5 stars because every time i go there I have an awesome experience.

I have 3 tattoos...all done by Brian and now live in Minnesota but will be returning in July for him to "fix" a scar and give my husband his first tattoo. You will be beyond thrilled with whatever he does for you. Happy to share pics too...happy to refer Brian every day of the week! :-)

Brian is an amazing artist and person. I was disappointed by a tattoo I received from an artist before gypsy skull opened its doors. He fit me in quickly and stayed late to fix it for me. Brian genuinely cares for this business and his clients. I am more then pleased with what he was able to do, since I was told by many it wouldn't be able to be fixed and would have to be covered up. I will seriously recommend gypsy skull to everyone I know and I have found my new tattoo shop and artist today! If you want to find someone who cares about what is on your body and you're happiness this is the place. Very clean and a laid back atmosphere. I just met Brian today and I'm not going anywhere else. He won my business for future tattoos!

This is the absolute cleanest and best tattoo shop around, anywhere! Top-of-the-line artists, wonderful work, very personable, friendly atmosphere. With their professional advise and excellent listening skills you'll be sure to walk away with a piece you'll love for the rest of time. I wouldn't go anywhere else. If you want to watch tv or listen to music, while getting your work done, they've got it there for you. Hands down, best place around!!!!

2017 "flash" sale, more like "snail" sale. I've been to flash sales before, even Gypsy skull's first black friday sale but this was by fair the longest wait for nothing. I waited 4 hours in line at this years "flash" sale and was still a good 2 hours from getting in the door and another hour or so to even get sat down. They took 1 person every hour for piercings and about 6 people every 2 hours or so for tattoos. $40 tattoo for a 5+ hour wait, i dont think so.

Just got started on my sleeve and so far it’s only the line work and it’s already my favorite tattoo! The staff in general was impressive. Walk in the door and see that everyone was in scrubs and of a uniform appearance. I will recommend anyone looking for friendly professional work to be done to go to gypsy skull tattoo first! Keep up the good work!!!

BE AWARE, THIS IS NOT SE JOLIE'S WEBSITE and the Business hrs. are not correct!! They are open FROM 10-7PM Tuesday to Friday, Saturday 9-3 and closed Sunday and Monday. not sure who posted these hrs, I know for a fact no one at Se Jolie posted them. They have moved back to their main location at 332 E. Middle Street in Hanover.
Anyways, just give them a try if you are looking for better prices.

Great place to get a tattoo, very clean and professional. Mikey is a great artist and I was very pleased with the whole tattoo experience. I also have a tattoo that I wasn't 100% happy with from another shop and Brian was able to fix it no problem. Overall professional place that I will definitely recommend to others in the future. I will definitely be going here for tattoos in the future.

Been there several times now. Everyone is so friendly and professional. Love this place and love the artists that I've met. You won't be disappointed if you give this place a try. I love every tattoo I've gotten there. Can't wait to come back for another visit. The artist that done work on me was Jamie Farley. He does great work and he loves what he does. Any one you get when you make an appointment, you are guaranteed to have a great time. So im giving this place 5 stars because every time i go there I have an awesome experience.

I have 3 tattoos...all done by Brian and now live in Minnesota but will be returning in July for him to "fix" a scar and give my husband his first tattoo. You will be beyond thrilled with whatever he does for you. Happy to share pics too...happy to refer Brian every day of the week! :-)

Brian is an amazing artist and person. I was disappointed by a tattoo I received from an artist before gypsy skull opened its doors. He fit me in quickly and stayed late to fix it for me. Brian genuinely cares for this business and his clients. I am more then pleased with what he was able to do, since I was told by many it wouldn't be able to be fixed and would have to be covered up. I will seriously recommend gypsy skull to everyone I know and I have found my new tattoo shop and artist today! If you want to find someone who cares about what is on your body and you're happiness this is the place. Very clean and a laid back atmosphere. I just met Brian today and I'm not going anywhere else. He won my business for future tattoos!

With their professional advise and excellent listening skills you'll be sure to walk away with a piece you'll love for the rest of time. I wouldn't go anywhere else. If you want to watch tv or listen to music, while getting your work done, they've got it there for you. Hands down, best place around!!!!
