I've been to many shops & artists in Bucks County after being told by friends that "they are the BEST"! Let's just say, I was disappointed with the shoddy line work from each and every "artist" I paid. And when the healing process was complete, I could spot many flaws from a mile away. On a whim, I decided to give Tattoo Galaxy a try with a Harley Quinn idea I had for my hand. That was when I came across one of the best(if not "the" best) in the business. Tina far exceeded my expectations and made my tattoo extremely unique by adding her artistic ideas to what I originally asked for. She even helped me decide on a better idea and explained her reasons why my original idea wouldn't quite be what I was chasing after. The placement, the line work, coloring, and the added expressions of her art.....ALL perfection! I will never go to any other shop ever again. As soon as I set FOOT in the shop, I was greeted immediately as well, as in a very kind manner(unlike most shops in this area where staff leave you with the feeling that you're somehow ruining their day by walking through the door). The friendly and non-judgemental atmosphere kind of took me by surprise at first. But it wasn't long before I felt totally at home, as if I was hanging out with old friends. ALL tattoo shops should base themselves on Tattoo Galaxy's perfect customer service, frankly. Jesus, even the other customers were friendly and welcoming-ALL because of the positive vibes fostered by incredible staff. The shop itself, was very clean. The staff were the friendliest I've ever come across(In addition to Tina, I also met Mike and Milla-very cool people!). I highly recommend this shop and artist to anyone looking to get some work done! As a customer who enjoys getting tattoos I will not go to any other shop to get a tattoo, they've added a new artist (Tina) who is really good, the lobby/waiting area is relaxing and comfortable the flash work now depicts the artists and in my opinion I think that's important to anyone looking to get a tattoo! I found Tattoo Galaxy on a google search. I was looking for a tattoo/ear piercing shop because for over 20yrs I've suffered from severe chronic daily migraines. So bad that I can rarely get out of bed. I had heard that some migraine sufferers have gotten daith piercings, all w good results. I figured why not, I've tried everything else. I called & spoke to Mike. He was very kind & told me he had success w migraine sufferers. I felt comfortable talking to him as he describe...d the piercing, how & why it works, etc. I went Wed 5/17/17. It hurt, I'm not going to lie but he calmly talked me thru it. Believe it or not the migraine pain went down to a ache. It was AMAZING! I was a little worried today, now Sun, because the piercing was pretty sore so I called. Mike told me all was well after letting him kno it wasn't red or swollen. He spent about 10 mins answering every question I had. You could tell he cared by his tone. That meant a lot 2 me. Since it seems to be working, as soon as my piercing heals I'm going back to get my other ear done. The second I walked through the door, everyone made me feel super comfortable. The artists were very personable and professional. Mike, the guy who pierced my nose, was absolutely amazing in handling my appointment. He was very confident in his abilities which put me immediately at ease. His passion for what he does came through and was felt in his work. What also was reassuring was having the sterile bags opened right in front of me instead of being already laid out. Great place. I finally decided to get my first tattoo after years of putting it off. Tina was great, she came up with a nice design based on what I showed her and the tattoo was great. She was patient with my questions and was laid back/easy to deal with. I think they're reasonably priced and the shop is CLEAN. To me that was just as important as anything else. Floyd in Willow Grove is working on a huge piece for my arm that was started (poorly) by someone else. Not only was he sensitive to my limits and totally committed to my vision, but it already looks a thousand times better! They were easy to get in touch with, easy to get a consultation from, easy to schedule with and sooo much fun. They clearly welcomed me and my family and the piercing artist (I'm sorry I forget her name right now) was really fun and really good, too. She re-pierced my nose with jewelry I brought with me and it looks better than it ever did and healed in a blink of an eye. Prices are good too, especially considering what a quality place this is. Nothing but amazing from Tattoo Galaxy in Ambler!!!! Saul is one of the most amazing artists I've seen! After seeing some of my friends end up with terrible tattoos I was hesitant to go to a random shop, but I was willing to give it a shot. So when I went in to ask questions before hand, Saul was able to answer all my questions and put away all my doubts. He has done both of my tattoos, and I love showing them off, everywhere I go someone is asking me where I got my amazing b...utterfly from.
