He has flaked on two appointments, and lost it and "backed out on the project" because he told me he wasn't going to do any prework then sent me a link to pay him $30. I had an absolutely amazing experience at Karma! Josh was one of the best artists I've worked with. He put a lot of time and effort into my tattoo, which is a space themed half sleve. His work is precise and seemingly effortless. He put on a dolphin video on YouTube that was three minutes of footage looped over and over and over. By the end of my session, I felt very close to some of those dolphins and will probably, Pavilion style, associate pain with dolphins from here on out. My sisters and I wanted to get matching tattoos. We found Josh and were very pleased that we did. He was able to fit us in when we wanted, which was so awesome. The shop was very clean. i was referred to this tattoo parlor by a friend with beautiful Chinese calligraphy on her hand. She said Josh  from Karma created the most delicate, artistic calligraphy of anyone in town. They must employ more than one Josh :( I took  a printout of the character I wanted (my 1st tatoo) and clearly indicated the area just above my bra strap in the center of my back. Josh disappeared into the back room and reappeared with what looked like a piece of tissue paper. He taped it to my back and gave me a hand mirror to "look at it." All I could see was a piece of tissue paper taped to my back - practically on my neck. He did NOT stencil the character for me to see and he did NOT move it down to the spot I requested, nor did he make it the size I requested. What I ended up with is a thick GIANT blob of what is supposed to be a delicate Chinese character - halfway up my neck. When he started I told him it still felt too high; he said my perception was off because of the chair. I DO NOT RECOMMEND using this studio. Read Less

He always does just exactly what I ask him for but with the added benefit of his Joshification or as I call it, when he Joshifies.. I was not happy at all with my experiance at Karma Tattoo. I talked to an artist,told him what I wanted.Made an appointment ,paid a fee. When I got the tattoo done,I told the artist what colors I wanted,purple and blue.When he did it,he put blue and red! It made the tattoo look totaly wrong.
