I was extremely upset and had an issue with only one artist, who was very unprofessional , I paid for 2 tattoos sitting fees. Then he told me he could not do what I was asking for. The art work was just traced from a picture that I sent him with all the flaws and was not altered the way we asked. Then I was charged for art work he didn't do. If it weren’t for the fact that we had drove an hour and a half to go to ink Assassins because we had heard good things about them, and had made our appointments online, and weren’t going to be able to come in any other day that week, we would have turned right around and walked out the door within 5 minutes of being there. Experienced the second worst customer service experience of my life here. We were treated with the most blatant rudeness by Anthony “Thorn”. He was unprofessional and rude from beginning to end. The way he treated us you would’ve thought we went to his home at midnight, knocked on his door and woke him up, and asked for a tattoo. If I were his management he would be done working for me. We will never go back to ink Assassins because of this experience. Not trying to return his negativity with more negativity with this review, just want to help prevent others from having this same experience. I went in to have my Prince albert pierced and i have to say it was the worst experience I have ever had being pierced by a "professional". for starters Matty did not walk me through the piercing process, the reciving tube was over sized and he jammed it into my urethra forcefully, with no lube. I had no choice in gauge, jewlery, or placement. He actually pierced me on a different spot then where he marked. The piercing was way off center and less then a 1/4 inch from the opening on my urethra. The jewlery he placed in the piercing was a 1.25 inch bent barbell. Not only is a bent barbell the wrong starter jewlery it was about 3/4 of an inch too long. Because of the placement and jewlery I had to take it out. I was here in August of 2017 and got a tattoo on the top of my foot and it turned out amazing! I highly recommend Teddy Rex, he was the one who did it. Even with how often I was in either the bath or even pools and hot tubs it still looks great. I haven't heard too many good things about some of the other artist, my friend went the same day and got one on the side of her foot, which was a poor placement on her part, but its almost completely gone, I can't remember who did hers though. So as long as you get Teddy to do your tattoo you'll be golden! Also for how big it is, very well priced. Read Less

Went to get a piercing and a small tattoo. Matt the piercer was amazing and did a great job. However the man who did my tattoo was a very different story. He never introduced himself and he dug so deep with the needle that I couldn’t see it anymore. This was my 18th tattoo so I knew what to expect and how it should go. He completely made the 2.5 minute tattoo miserable. Now the lines are blown and the color isn’t properly filled in. On top of all this he charged me more than minimum for a tattoo that was one four letter word and a small heart filled in. Again not even 2.5 minutes of work yet he charged me more than there minimum. I’m afraid to see what an actual tattoo for minimum price would be. I have a great shop in pittsburgh and I regret wholeheartedly not going to them. Never again will I go back, and I will tell anyone I can to not go there. Read Less

incredibly rude to me and my sister and even cussed at us . i also got two piercings there in which one fell out on its own and was terribly infected and the other ripped out of my earlobe because the earring wasn't put in right and was infected as well. Never had a single problem with and/or at this place. From my experience, the staff working here are quite honest and frankly have a calming sense of humor. EMS normally does my tattoos and I never feel overcharged or over whelmed. From what I've witness from other artists' works on my friends, Thorns and Jake Miller are also talented. Worst first experience I could be asked for. Not even sure of the name of the guy because I was never told. Dug up my arm so bad it was bleeding for 12 hours while my friend (who got the same tattoo in the same place by a different guy, who was very nice) was fine shortly after. I took care of it exactly how I was told to, by the card given to me with care instructions. Lines are very crooked, it's extremely faded, and some spots aren't even filled in at all. I got my first tattoo here in June of 2015. My artist was "Thorns" though I believe his name was Anthony. It was a sentimental piece to me and at first he was a nice guy. The tattoo hurt way more than I expected (I have four now and this one was by far the most painful on my wrist). He was heavy handed. His "bedside manner" was terrible. As I sat as still as possible at one point he said "you're not going to cry are you? I haven't had someone cry in a long time" which made me feel worse about this choice. The tattoo only took about fifteen minutes. The tattoo continued to bleed until the next day and after it healed I find out the lines aren't straight and he dug into my skin so deep he left scars on some places. Overall a horrible experience. Not welcoming at all, not a job well done. But at least I can say I know what NOT to look for when I go into a tattoo shop. So thanks. Read Less

So I got my daith pierced on July 29 and the guy who did it put the needle through my ear but it didn't go through all the way, I'm laying with a needle in my ear for maybe 10 mins then he just shoves it through the rest of the way as I was about to pass out. It's now middle of October and my ear is still bleeding almost nonstop and I'm still extremely sore. I called the store to tell them and ask for help and they told me use the salt water spray (which I always did till the big bottle was gone). I also got a tattoo from there and it looks horrible. It's supposed to say "with pain comes strength" well the pain looks like palm cause he messed up my I. I do not trust this place at all. I do not recommend anyone going there. The piercer made me feel stupid when he asked me if I even knew what a philtrum was when he mumbled open your mouth. Apparently he pierced it at an angle when it should have been straight. Now the inside of my lip is cored and I can't make the disc smaller because of the huge chunk missing. It gets stuck under my teeth and is a huge pain. Don't get pierced here. Only got it done because Sacred Piercing was closed that day. Biggest mistake. Read Less

I don't remember the name of the guy who did my tattoo 6 months, but he did a shitty and careless job. I wanted a very simple piece of writing on my wrist, 2 inches long, maybe half inch tall, took him about five min.. Charged me $60. It's uneven and very obviously needs touched up. He sucked. I went to Ink Assassins for my first tattoo. It was a great experience. Kevin was the one who tattooed me and he was very patient when it came to making the design of my tattoo. And patient when it came to changing the design again. He was nice and seemed like he knew what he was doing. I was nervous though, but he made the experience less nerve wrecking. It barely even hurt. The place was clean and they do accept walk-ins because that's what I did. I highly recommend this tattoo shop! Read Less
