A business is lead by it’s owner. I met Greg Blymire (owner of Vapor Trails and Tattoo Ink) through an ad on Facebook Marketplace. Greg was opening his newest store and wanted a “tasting” bar. After a series of conversation, discovering mutual interests (like hunting, etc.), I had this sense that he was a straight up dude. I built his bar, he paid for materials, and we set a plan to trade my working hours for a tattoo. As a perfectionist artist, I don’t want ink just ...to have it. It must express something and the quality must prevail. I conveyed my interest for a major piece that would be all but a full sleeve. I told Greg to run with his artistic expression (the best work for both involved is when you get what you want and the artist is left to be lost in his craft). As Greg began to mark a guideline layout, I knew I made the right decision. It was very evident that he’s a gifted artist vs. someone who can just tattoo (there’s a significant difference). Six hours later, I walked out with the foundation of my sleeve with more time yet to go to finish. Greg’s qualities super-exceed just being a talented artist. He’s a man’s man whose handshake means something. If you are a person discerning of quality and you want a caliber of work that is differentiated from just getting inked, Greg is your guy! Were to start? I had about 10 tattoos on both arms from 3 different artists. The late Scott Black did the most but had 2 done in Colorado. Liked the work I had but no direction. Met Barry and talked about making some sleeves. The two thing I love. Big KISS fan and I drag race. Had a lot of cover ups but Barry assured he could make it work. He worked his magic with every piece I wanted to add. He made everything flow. All the colors look great. Couldn't ask for a better artists or now a great friend. Went in for a quote with my husband as this was a gift. WAS REFERRED BY SOME OF DOVER PA'S WHITE TRASH (the snaggleteeth should of warned me).. We got a quote of $550-$600. ok set up 1st appointment paid $50.00 deposit measured and sized where its to be placed. 1st sitting 11am to 530 pm only outline and a few flowers done $350.00. 2nd sitting got some more flowers done paid $250.00. Now paid $650.00 and not even finished unless i want to get taken for more money. Don't give "quotes" if you can't KEEP THEM!!! Not take advantage of people for HUNDREDS MORE IF NOTHING MORE WAS ADDED. Going elsewhere to get it finished and will be HAPPY spending our $$$$ ON LOTS MORE TATTOO'S elsewhere!! Awesome experience! Just happened to be working near the shop. Stopped in told my newly acquired ink man (POKE) told him what I was thinkin, asked him to draw something up an the next day I was blew away by what he had came up with. Good prices awesome tattoos but you get what you pay for and that's nice art work if you want quality work and want good art on your body you pay the price some people want a quote if you ask me get what you want done and pay for it dont complain if you think it's to much if it's to much your not ready for it don't put bad reviews on here cause you wanna be cheap if you wanna be cheap go to guy tattooing out of his house for half the price and half the quality don't be a Wendy!!!!
