I stopped in one day with the idea of covering up an old tattoo. I was greeted by Danny who took a look at it said said that it absolutely could be done. We discussed a few ideas, I settled on one, and I asked what the next step was. Danny told me that he would take a tracing of my tattoo and then draw up the piece that would cover it. He said this would require a $40 deposit to cover his time in drawing up the piece, and would go towards the total price when it was done. I thought this was reasonable and gave him the cash. He took my number, some pics of my tattoo, and made the tracing. I was told that he'd text me a pic of the finished piece about a week before the appointment to have it done, giving enough time for me to give input on any changes I wanted before it was put on me permanently. About a week and a half before my appointment, I was in the area and stopped by the shop in hopes of seeing what Danny had drawn in person. I knew It was earlier than he had promised to have it done, but I figured I'd take a chance and see if it had been started. Danny told me that he hadn't had a chance to draw it yet, but had been researching some similar pieces online to get ideas on how it would look. He assured me that he'd have it drawn up in a few days and would text me the pics. The week of my appointment came, but no text did. I already had a fairly large tattoo on my body that I was not fond of, and here I was trusting a guy I knew nothing about to cover it with something three times it's size. I wanted to make sure I liked what he drew and that I could live with it because, being a half sleeve, there would be no going back and covering this one up. With each passing day, I got more nervous waiting for the text. The last thing I wanted was to wind up in the chair, seeing it for the first time, and getting something that big and irreversible out of a sense of obligation. Two days before my appointment, I finally decided that enough was enough and I called to inquire about the pics. Danny was not available, so I told whoever had answered that I needed to cancel my appointment. Danny called later to discuss the cancellation. I told him my concerns over needing to see the art ahead of time as he had promised me. His response was that he was to the point of talent that he was able to draw it on my arm right there, the day of the appointment, and he could guarantee that I'd love it. Now, had I known this guy and had previous experience with him as one of his long time customers, this might have been acceptable to me. However, I knew nothing about him, was a first time customer to the shop, and he had promised me something that he was not delivering. I told him I couldn't do that, to which he replied that I'd lose my deposit if I canceled. I decided I'd rather be out $40 than much, much more for a tattoo I didn't love and hung up the phone. So, there's a long winded story, but the bottom line is this place made promises, took my money, refused to deliver the promise, and then expected me to trust them to alter my body with a very large tattoo from which there'd be no going back. Yeah, no thanks. If you're willing to trust people like this, good luck to you, I hope it works out. Read Less
