Koty and all of the guys at the shop were awesome. It was a seven hour session for my first tattoo, but Koty and everyone else went above and beyond to make sure I had a comfortable and even relaxing time. Several artists were doing long sessions so they even ordered pizza for the staff and clients. Koty is extremely personable and has remarkable talent. This place is a gem hidden in the outskirts of Philly I got lucky and was blessed with a cancellation appointment with Paul acker. The man is insanely talented and just extremely professional. The hospitality starts as soon as u walk through the door and doesn't end till u walk out. loved the experience can't wait to go back..all the artist are phenomenal. I gave Paul the reigns let him get a few ideas together I took the first thing he showed me haha..and I'm blown away by the end result he puts his heart and soul into his art. I got tattooed by Bryan Merck. He did an amazing job and his attention to detail was outstanding. I was having trouble getting through a lot of pain and he was extremely patient. The shop was second to none. The cleanliness and sanitary nature of the shop were also above and beyond. The price was easily justified by the work done by their artists. From the moment you walk through the front door you know you picked the right place. I waited months for my appointment and it was well worth the wait. Nichole the receptionist greeted me and immediately asked me if I wanted anything, "coffee, water, anything" she said. At which point she got Bryan Merck, my artist, and he introduced himself with enthusiasm. Once he was set to work we sat and discussed my options, size, placement, layout, etc. Then he got to work. His equipme...nt was well organized and highly professionally set up. I instantly felt comfortable and reassured about the artist I chose to do this intimate and very personal piece. No words can adequately convey how f*cking psyched I am right now. Paul Acker is absolutely amazing! His talent is off the charts, but he's also just so genuine and nice. Not to mention Seance Studios is such a stunningly morbid, beautiful space. I want to live in their waiting room. Lol. The whole experience was just fantastic. The shop assistant even bought us chicken strips. Haha. AND I got to watch horror movies and listen to metal the entire time I was there. Can't say enough great things about this experience.
