I love, love, love freehanmans. I read in the last review they were eating which they found unprofessional...I know for a fact they will go all day sometimes without eating and continue tattooing. "ouch"!!, If that big guy is a good tattoo artist, that would mean he intended to hurt me and ruin the skin on my forearm. Go there at your own risk. They talk nice, but I can do that too. "A very bad tattoo shop". They'll give you a tattoo alright. Just dial 91 and have your finger ready to hit 1 when the infection sets in.Samantha is absolutely correct and both of us should have seen the writing on the wall (dirty crumby little shop and a staff that just doesn't seem to snap to it.) Sure, I'd go back, if I wanted to contract hepatitis or some other blood born illness, or just want to be in extreme unnecessary pain for 2 weeks. Seriously though, if you need to get a tattoo, shop around. There are so many great artists out there and most shops are cleaner. If I could give a negative 2 rating I'd give Freehanman a -5.P.S.  IMHO The good ratings they get on Facebook are from fresh new tattoos that haven't started healing/festering yet. Read Less

amazing i went hear because i was told by many difereent people to go hear they treat you like gold and they take care of you the prices are great they dont rip you off they have fixed many of my horrible tattoos i have gotten from other shops in the area i wont even go to another tattoo shop and i live near hazleton pa which is a good 45 min to an hr away they have fixed over a half dozen tattoos other shops did and made them look better and they did many of my other tattoos i have so many people think i work in a shop but i just love tattoos if you want a great shop with great people and a comfortable envorment go to the one and only freehanman tattoos Read Less

I went into this shop having high hopes, they had a friendly staff and were from my home state of Florida. I went in on a whim and should have known better, but I was anxious and excited. Vanessa drew out a lovely design on paper. While tattooing on my wrist I started noticing the shading wasn't looking good and asked her about it. Long story short. I have a lop sided heart with pointed edges and random "highlights" everywhere. Aside from this tattoo coming out horrendously bad looking was the infection I got. This is not my first tattoo, I have 3 large pieces on my body and have never had a problem with them. Shortly after arriving home I started to notice my skin swell and turn bright red, I then found she had ignored my repeated mentioning, even at the point of her putting gloves on of my latex allergy. After going to the shop when my tattoo was inflamed and very infected she told me to just stop putting stuff on it and let it "dry out" but that it was fine. The doctors said otherwise when I had to be put on penicillin because the infection was so bad from her getting latex in an open wound. Read Less
