I personally haven't had anything done here, but one of my daughters has gotten a couple of tattoes at Bonedaddy's, and I accompanied my youngest daughter to get her nose pierced recently.  The guy working the counter was cool - very chill and just seemed like a nice guy. The nose ring guy was cool too.  If I can ever stop paying bills long enough, I'd love to go back and get myself another tattoo, but I've been saying that for the last 18 years, so it's starting to look like it's never gonna happen.  Waaahhh!!! I went in to get my tragus redone after it closed (originally pierced at another shop). John took me back quickly and repierced with no problems. While in the chair I decided I wanted to get two more piercings done and he accommodated me no problem. John made sure I was comfortable with the piercing placement and answered all of my 457 questions. Totally felt at ease here, can't wait to return for my next tattoo. I have been thinking about getting an industrial piercing for over a year but I have just been too scared. The new year rolled around around and i decided to Go for it. I called a week before and the guy who answered the phone was great. Very informative and told me to come on in that same day but they close at 8. On Saturday, I walked in the parlor and to my surprise their was a line. I was immediatley greeted and although there were 3 ahead (all for tattoos) they were able to take me right away. John Paul was my piercer and he told me to sit, asked what ear I wanted the piercing done and proceeded to put on gloves, clean and mark my ear and pull new instruments out of the packaging. He was soon ready and after shaking off the nerves I told him to go for it. It was done in 30 seconds and was told that it should heal in about 2months ( but I think Ill leave it in a bit longer) and to clean 3xs a day Overall I had a great experience although it hurt but that was to expected. I've gotten my last 2 tattoos from bone daddy's, one from Nate and another from Jay. My little sister also got her first tattoo here by Jay. I know many people who swear by this shop, and so do I. Best tattoo shop around. All the artists are very friendly and do incredible work. I would recommend anyone to go there for any type of tattoo. John pohl has done 3 of my tattoos and I'm obsessed with them. I have received many compliments on how great my tattoos look, especially the Phoenix that John free handed on my thigh. The experience really sucked. I got both navel piercings done. Top and bottom and they got infected, I had to go to another shop to get the piercings out cause I'd rather have gone to someone that knew what they were doing. They didn't clean their piercing equipment at all and didn't even use the proper belly button rings at all, piercing was way too deep and not in the proper spot at all. Read Less

I have LOVED this place and been going since I was 16 years of age.  I am currently 27 years old, which makes that 11 years of trust.  After over 2 months of attempting to schedule a routine tattoo appointment I had my services ignored.  I went from going once every other month to being ignored.  This first started with ignoring my emails, then the last straw was when I called in via phone and spoke with a member I know there.  I heard him ask for my artist, I heard my artist in the background but he did not come to the phone. Me and my six cousins all went there this past Saturday for tattoos as a tribute to our recently deceased mommom and Craig Blankley did all of our tattoos.He was extremely nice and did a fantastic job on all of our tattoos!! Bone Daddy is located in a somewhat sketchy area but the shop is clean and well-maintained. I was tattooed there by Nate in 2008.It was my first tattoo, and I was nervous. Nate was friendly and patient. I brought in a really crappy drawing I'd done of the general shape I wanted (it was a lizard) and he made me a custom design that looked great. He was helpful in telling me what size would look good on my shoulder, and he repositioned it for me until it was exactly where I wanted.He seemed a little put off by the fact that I'd brought 2 friends along, but he did let them come back one at a time to be with me and take a few pictures.I was really happy with the experience and how it turned out. Bonus- the price was a lot lower than the estimates I'd gotten at other tattoo parlors in the area. I recommend Bone Daddy. Read Less
