My daughter and I went there tonight to get matching tattoos.Joseph Jeffries did them for us . He was amazing he had a great personal funny ( pepperoni) and did a amazing job . This being my 4th tattoo and swear to God it was not painful at all I got mine on my right side everyone told me how painful. I'm not sure y but seriously not painful at all working in the Dental field I was watching him clean Everything put barriers on the tattoo needle sprayed the whole table and washed his hands we had so much fun felt like we were hanging out with friend , and he's work was truly perfection I can not say enough good things about him and the tattoo parlor . I'm not one for long reviews or reviews at all really. But for this one exception, I'll leave one for this shop, my artist, and my experience. If you're ever thinking about a tattoo, whether it be a one shot/one time thing or wanting to get an entire piece or whole masterpiece on your body, this shop is right for you. Initially going in, I've never experienced a tattoo shop before, didn't know how it worked, and was intimidated by the fact that I was going in with no ink, no experience, etc. But Dan, my tattoo artist changed my mindset completely. He listened to my ideas (though I didn't have much), he was patient with me, and most of all, he was respectful and kind. He was constantly willing to work with anything I threw at him, had awesome ideas for how my tattoo should be placed and the design of it, and worked with me every step of the way to making my first tattoo the masterpiece that it is. If you're ever looking to get your first tattoo or get some more, I highly recommend Tattoo Galaxy, specifically Dan. Pat is such a friendly guy and makes you comfortable the minute you walk in. He is very welcoming and happy to discuss your tattoo ideas. Very laid back, relaxed, yet professional - everything you'd want at a tattoo shop. He has done two tattoos for me in a span of 3 months and the work is excellent. Daniel Parish just began working at this quaint little shop in downtown Ambler and has been doing all of my art for the past decade. There is no one whom I would rather have with a tattoo gun at the helm. The location of the shop is ideal: it is within walking distance to several cafes, shops, and restaurants. There is even a sign on the main street pointing you in the direction of the shop. The atmosphere once inside is an intimate setting. Other shops I have gotten worked on at are cluttered, there are too many artists, and/or the music lacks tact. This is NOT that place. Soulful tunes, Dan's soft touch of the gun, and my mom got to go grab a coffee and sandwich while I was getting worked on. In short, Daniel Parish can design and put your idea into reality. I always defer to his know-how when it comes to placement and structure. His craft is timeless. I've been with him since he first started picking up the gun in Fairbanks, Alaska all those years ago. Christmas 2016 I came in to see Pat.Pat could not have been more accommodating and professional in his work. His attention to detail and knowledge of his art was apparent. He was cool as a cucumber during the process and a delight, it made the experience better than I imagined. The shop was clean and the location was easy to find with decent street parking.
