Owner Joel Smith has been tattooing since 1994Opened 2VIVID in 2007. Certified in "Blood Bourne Pathogen Prevention". All used needles get incinerated through Bio Hazard program. Producing Quality Art to give you a lifetime of enjoyment. Use only top quality (vegan)ink and jewelry. everything is opened out of sterile packets in front of you. Piercing jewelry is also sterilized and opened in front of you.

The atmosphere was not friendly and welcoming, plus they claimed it was a higher charge for tattoos on the hands or feet. That is ridiculous sounding. If you are getting a tattoo, it is permanent no matter where it gets placed. Go to Absolute Skin Images. They are clean, friendly, and awesome!

My mom stopped in and was sitting in Joel's chair when I arrived. We wanted to do something to memorialize my brother, as he passed in January. Joel made mom's tattoo perfect and Dawn nailed mine! Without knowing it, we each sat in the proper chair for what we wanted out tattoo to look like....even being the exact same tattoo, each artist put their own hand to work, and they are ever so slightly different...just like a signature. They are perfect! Thank you Joel and Dawn for rocking my moms first tattoo and for killing my third!

Even though it was years ago when Joel had his shop in the Cross Keys area I got my second tattoo of butterflies on my shoulder and redid the first one on my back the same day. Hey they still look great after 8 years or so. I will definitely come back if I ever have a chance again. Keep up the good work Joel.

I got tons of compliments on the precise line work and now I'm getting compliments on the shading, to the point that people can't believe it's a tattoo. He was intuitive and patient when I needed a break, meticulous in his cleanliness and informative with aftercare instructions. I will be back for sure and making sure my friends know about my awesome new artist who just happens to have stellar rates!

My mom stopped in and was sitting in Joel's chair when I arrived. We wanted to do something to memorialize my brother, as he passed in January. Joel made mom's tattoo perfect and Dawn nailed mine!
