I waited a few days to write this to make sure I was fair and no longer upset. I gave Skin City an A-OK rating because, while I am very satisfied with the quality of work itself by Marcelo, I got totally turned off after a follow-up call. It wasn't until that evening at home that I noticed a tiny comma was missing at the end of the first of three lines of lettering. Yes, the comma was in my original drawing, and at the end of the session, Marcelo did ask me to check his work, but I think that I missed it because of a combination of being excited about my new tattoo, plus having just come out of a very relaxed state, not having my glasses on, plus the slight redness/swelling of the whole area. In any event, as soon as I could, I called Marcelo and told him I'd noticed the missing comma and asked if I could come in and have him put it in. He said he couldn't do that without another $60 deposit, and that since I'd mentioned to him that I'd like some more work done, he would do that work and throw the comma in for free. IDK, but that just came across chintzy to me. It seems to me that, for someone who's just made a new client whom he knows is going to mean more work, Marcelo should have offered to do the comma. A single, tiny comma. That would have bought him tons of good will, and I would have gone back many, many more times. But that whole thing just turned me off. Oh, and I agree with the person who commented on the poor phone skills of the woman who answers phones there. I got her, too, and she could not have sounded less interested in anything I was saying, or been more distracted. Too bad, because on one of my initial calls I spoke to Steve, who was awesome and was actually the reason I decided to go there. It's great that you guys are wonderful artists and I so appreciate your skill, but you gotta know how to handle people, too. Read Less
