This is an experience from a friend who is devastated that her tattoo artist that has gotten dozens of tattoos from him, I think his name us Michael and he told her he would not tattoo her anymore because "she has to many" this us discrimination, this company has a reputation for poor costumer service and terrible attitudes.. do not go to memento ink! I have been working on a space sleeve and needed an local artist in Springfield Oregon that was familiar with this kind of work. I did several searches on the Internet looking for the right artists. After many searches I decided to go with Momento ink. I found that they were on Main St in Springfield and walked into the shop without an appointment. There were more than one artist open at the time. The shop was clean and looked very sanitary and sterile. David greeted me at the door and ask me what kind of tattoo I was looking for. We discussed what I was looking for and David gave me a reasonable price. David also explained that because I was getting my tattoo in the "ditch" that he would do any touchups at no charge in the future. The colors were bright on the work I had done was very consistent The line work was amazing. The rest of the staff was very friendly and I would rate this a five star tattoo parlor. Ruined my chest piece uneven. They asked to fix it but wouldn't work with me on my preference of who would fix it seeing as how half looks amazing when the artists blood sugar was okay. From my initial pop-in visit, to the finish of my tattoo by Mikal, I felt not only welcomed, but at ease at Memento Ink.  The tattoo itself went smooth, and quick.  This young man is going to go places.  His touch is light and sure.  I got to know the artists a bit over the hours I was worked on.  I recommend any of them, and will be returning for more Ink.  They also have a hair salon and piercing. I'm gonna urge you  not to go there. If I could give it negative  stars I would. I asked for a specific tattoo, the artist couldn't  do it so he drew up one I liked and told him to change a few things. He said ok.  Placed the template on my arm[thinking he did what I asked] and started the session. He dug away at my arm like he was digging for gold, it's covered in scar tissue, the parts I told him to change never happed, it looks so cartoonist I don't like even showing it in public. They are inexperienced, lack any imagination, rude, inconsiderate , don't listen to the customers wants. Just an all around horrible experience. My wife's experience was the same. If you want scarification, that's the place. If you want a tattoo worth showing travel down to lifetime on 14th. Terry Lee is great! Read Less

I love, love Samantha! Just got my 11th piercing from her! As usual she was fantastic, happy & spunky! Not only is her space clean & professional but she is great at what she does! Always full of helpful information about aftercare & jewelry types. I had two microdermals done at high priestess before finding Samantha & both turned out terrible and needed removed. I had a horrible experience with the piercer Samantha. I wanted snake bites and I came in and my bf wanted to record my experience. She got the first one in and then the second and I hopped off and took a look and my be and I thought that the bar was to short for swelling cause it was super tight on my lip and she agreed so she wanted to do rings. She took one side out and could not get the ring In. Then she said the camera was making her nervous and asked to turn it off so we did. Still could get it in so she asked me to come back in 2 weeks to have it re pierced. Few days with just that one piercing I woke up to the piercings coming through the hole. Not only was the bar too short but the ball was too small. I tried calling for help and she wasn't in and wouldn't be for a few days. I had to stick some cardboard between the ball and my lip. So I ended up going to high priestess for some proper jewelry. A day later she texted me (not call to see if I was ok) she was nice but horrible horrible service. Read Less

I originally met them during the Springfield Christmas Parade as they gave out cookies and hot chocolate for the kids and parade attendees. The shop itself consists of three tattoo stations of very talented artists, a case of well-crafted jewelry, and a fabulous art gallery filled with thrilling pieces. The staff are genuinely a friendly welcoming people who have a passion for tattoos and body mods. My experience with the shop was an initial warm greeting by a bright and energetic shop owner and her gregarious fun husband. They were knowledgeable and helpful in discussing the particular design I wanted. We took a brief period of waiting, about a week, for the shop owner to draw up the exact design I wanted. We scheduled a new appointment for the actual work and I ended up with a beautiful piece that I will genuinely be proud of for the rest of my life.
