So, I was having a super cruddy day, and on top of having a cruddy day, I get off work at 6:30pm. Doesn't give me a lot of time to get anything taken care of especially spontaneous stuff like impulse tattoos. So I ventured off from work into Salem on a mission to get a quick tattoo to settle my cruddy day vibes. Went to two different shops who let me know they would have availability aaaand...that fell thru. Oregon tattoo was my next option. The shop had great music going, plenty of stuff to check out while I waited on my design. I worked with Russ who got me in just in time to take care of a line work tattoo I was wanting to get done. He has a super light hand, and keeps good conversation to keep you from thinking about the needs in your skin. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone. I got my industrial pierced here when I was in college and it was so poorly done that the piercing fell out. The piercer should have been honest with me that because of the shape of my ear, that the piercing would not last but instead she took my money and risked my health. I will not return. Read Less

Excellent work and friendly staff. I had a tat on my leg done a few weeks ago. Then my wife came in for a complete sleeve, which came out amazing. Over the course of the 12 hours we spent there, we got to know a few of the artists pretty well. While I waited to get my tattoo I saw all the guys wash their hands many times. Russell came out and somehow managed to draw up exactly what was in my head.
