I want to write this review dedicated solely for Joseph Robertson! AKA Teddy Cobra. He did my first ever beautiful tattoo of my koi fishies. His line work is precisely sharp, the shading is at utmost perfection, and the detailing is more than I could ask for. Joe worked with me and my vision of how I wanted my tattoo- sizing, adjustments of the fins, etc. I heard him wash his hands before starting the procedure, which is a small, but very important gesture that I really appreciate knowing. He also checked on how I was doing while he was tattooing me, making sure that I was alright. He asked about my opinions and really listened. We exchanged great conversations and questions to each other. He was very professional on asking for permission of taking a picture of my tattoo and posting it on his Instagram business account. I was recommended to go to Joe, and now with a personal experience working with him, I would recommend Joe as well. This guy is talented, and I will be coming back! His artwork is immaculate. I commend you to see his artwork yourself on his Instagram for some input of his style. I'm very happy I chose Joe to be the first to help start my tattoo journey. He could also negotiate on prices with you, and the store opens till midnight. Although I would call in just to make sure the tattoo artist have the same schedule that works well with yours. Walk ins are always welcomed. I was cleaning my tattoo in the girls bathroom at work, and 2 girls asked where my tattoo got done, so here I am ladies and gents, writing this review. Again, thank you so much for all of your hard work Joseph! Your artwork speaks for itself and I truly value your talent!

At 9:15 on a Wednesday night and I wandered into Kilroy's Tattoo on a whim to check out the work that they do. I had the pleasure of talking to Joe Robertson (no relation) and seeing his art/book. I gave him a bit of imagery based on a song I love and he drew it for me as a walk-in client. We talked for a bit about placement and color scheme (he was careful to take my other work into consideration). A short while later, I walked out with exactly what I had in mind, plus he played the song I that I was inspired by to give the whole session the right energy. My whole experience was positive: good vibes, good artwork, good music, good conversation, and hella affordable. Don't sleep on Joe at Kilroy's. I know I'll be back.

Got both of my tattoos from Maki and he did an amazing job. I'll definitely be coming back for more. My most recent one was the first time I had ever gotten a big tattoo, on my leg, and he seriously killed it. 4 hours of work for the first session. It's still in the healing process but I've gotten several compliments from random strangers because it just looks SO good. I'll be coming back for a second session soon for color. He's such a nice guy, definitely would recommend 10/10.

Very disappointed. Do not get tattooed by Jeff. Went in for a small walk in tattoo on a Sunday night. He said he has been tattooing for 30 years so I trusted him. Big mistake. Line work is uneven, lines not connected, coloring outside of lines and solid shading is uneven. He also insulted one of my other tattoos saying how I have scaring on it and said how he had "a way softer and more even hand." Obviously not. Save your money and go see Skot at Sea Tramp for late night tattoos.

Went in as a walk in and got two small tattoos done by Jeff. Very disappointed in how the line work turned out. One of them has a gap between two connecting lines. The other is very uneven, and the lines aren't straight on either. My friend also got a tattoo and she's very unhappy with how it turned out. The line work on hers is sloppy as well. We will both be going to someone else and pay them to clean up his work.

Absolutely in love with the work I got done by Paul. Since coming here I've sent two friends to get work done and they've had nothing but a great experience by others in the shop. Since I work in the afternoon it makes it so easy and convenient that they're open until midnight. I definitely plan on coming back for more pieces.

My friend and I are in town for a comic con and we really wanted to get a tattoo done of something an actor wrote out for us. We spoke to multiple tattoo shops, but everyone was about to close or booked up, although I will say that everyone we spoke to was very kind. Then we found Kilroy's Tattoos and discovered they were open until Midnight. Reese came out to help us. I'll be honest, I was extremely nervous to get tattooed (even though this was my 14th tattoo), but Reese was amazing. We looked over his book and pretty much interrogated him, and he answered every question I had. He was so incredibly patient with me. Even during the sketch and the tattoo, he listened to everything I had to say. He was really remarkable, and his lines are so clean and even. If I lived in area, I would most definitely come back to Reese.

Went in for a spur of the moment tattoo last night at like 11P.M. with two other friends, only one artist was working at the time so we figured we all wouldn’t be able to get a tattoo before midnight, but Reese stayed until 1A.M. (an hour after closing) just so we all could get one on the same night! He was extremely friendly, his lines were super straight, and he made my friends first tattoo experience 10/10. We will definitely be coming back in the future!

I had been considering getting another tattoo for a while but my schedule never really lets me plan that far ahead. I caught a wild hare one night and decided to try my luck as a walk in at Kilroy's because I'd driven by it a few times and it seemed open. The shop was clean and well lit and I didn't feel any weird vibes or attitude from the people working. Joe Robertson had some time available and even though my tattoo idea was kind of silly he seemed to genuinely listen when I explained to him what I wanted. He drew up some sketches and then modified them a little when I asked him to. The actual tattoo took around and hour and he charged me 120 which from what I gather fromMy friends who get tattooed elsewhere was a great deal. The lines are clean and the colors are vibrant. I'll definitely be back to see joe (and more pictures of his new baby!)

My brother surprised me and brought me down to Kilroy's Tattoo the other day to get my first tattoo from Mr. Ledford. He had drawn up something real nice already that my bro had gave him some ideas about. Right off the bat Mark made me feel very comfortable and relaxed and ready to get my first tattoo! I loved the drawing and I love the way the tattoo turned out! Mark was outstanding and overall it was a great experience!

My little brother and I could not have had a better experience! I am a veteran getting tattoos, and for my little brother's bachelor party wanted to devirginize him. Mark is a fantastic guy to go to whether you are experienced or brand new. He will go out of his way to make you feel comfortable, take all the time he needs and you need to get the design right, and just generally is a very cool and chill guy. I cannot recommend his Studio enough. I have gone to him in the past for myself and as of a year and a half later the tattoo looks remarkably good. He is more than willing to do touch-ups at any point for free. Professional and an extraordinary artist. Thank you so much Mr. Ledford.

I haven't been to Mark's new studio yet but I wanted to let everyone know about his expertise. As I mentioned on a review at his previous place, I randomly met with Mark to do an impulse piece on my arm that could've easily been ruined if it had not been completed by someone like Mark. He has such excellent "bedside manner" too, I'm kind of a spaz and can't ever articulate what I want but he was incredibly patient and willing to work with me so that the placement was perfect, even if it meant wiping it off and trying again a couple times. ;)Anyway, he even did a quick touch up on the tattoo on my other arm (that DID actually get messed up by someone) and now it looks perfect. I've posted a photo of both, you can see where he touched up the atom and the geometric window was the piece he completed for me from scratch. I didn't even think about how much work this must've been to get those lines perfect and straight, and a year later they're still perfect.

I have been a customer of Mark since my first tattoo, and I intend to have all my work done through him. Some great things about Mark is his attention to detail - he's SUPER OCD about placement and won't start until he feels the placement is perfect. He makes great suggestions and makes sure you're comfortable with the choices being made. Also helps he is very kind and funny; the kind of tattoo artist that is a close friend you like to see every so often.His arts old school-new school if I had to describe it. Great line work, nice and bold, and he's the kind of guy you can trust to make dope art even with vague ideas. The shop is super clean and comfortable, with plenty of parking available... Be sure to check out the model ship he made himself out front, truly a craftsman of all kinds!

I spent a few weeks looking for an artist when I decided to get another tattoo. I came across Mark's work and immediately loved his style, designs and of course the other great reviews. During my consultation Mark listened to my ideas and asked questions to make sure we were both on the same page. He took my idea and turned it into a fantastic work of art that far exceeded my expectations. I will definitely be going back to Mark the next time I want a tattoo and I would hands down recommend him to anyone wanting a piece.

I waited a long time to get my first tattoo, and luckily I found Mark! He was patient, kind, and gentle. He not only created a great tattoo, but the placement was unique and thoughtful, and he diligently walked me through aftercare. The entire experience was so great, I went to him for my second tattoo, as well. Mark is not only an extremely talented tattoo artist (I love his traditional style!), but he is also a genuinely nice person. He went out of his way to tattoo me (and my friends) on more than one occasion. I would definitely recommend him.

My entire experience with Mark was great. He promptly scheduled an appointment for me when I called, and was very receptive to all my questions. He drew up a sketch of exactly what I wanted, and was knowledgeable in every aspect of his art. He's a great listener, and you can tell he cares.

The actual tattoo took around and hour and he charged me 120 which from what I gather fromMy friends who get tattooed elsewhere was a great deal. The lines are clean and the colors are vibrant. I'll definitely be back to see joe (and more pictures of his new baby!)

My brother surprised me and brought me down to Kilroy's Tattoo the other day to get my first tattoo from Mr. Ledford. He had drawn up something real nice already that my bro had gave him some ideas about. Right off the bat Mark made me feel very comfortable and relaxed and ready to get my first tattoo! I loved the drawing and I love the way the tattoo turned out! Mark was outstanding and overall it was a great experience!

My little brother and I could not have had a better experience! I am a veteran getting tattoos, and for my little brother's bachelor party wanted to devirginize him. Mark is a fantastic guy to go to whether you are experienced or brand new. He will go out of his way to make you feel comfortable, take all the time he needs and you need to get the design right, and just generally is a very cool and chill guy. I cannot recommend his Studio enough. I have gone to him in the past for myself and as of a year and a half later the tattoo looks remarkably good. He is more than willing to do touch-ups at any point for free. Professional and an extraordinary artist. Thank you so much Mr. Ledford.

I haven't been to Mark's new studio yet but I wanted to let everyone know about his expertise. As I mentioned on a review at his previous place, I randomly met with Mark to do an impulse piece on my arm that could've easily been ruined if it had not been completed by someone like Mark. He has such excellent "bedside manner" too, I'm kind of a spaz and can't ever articulate what I want but he was incredibly patient and willing to work with me so that the placement was perfect, even if it meant wiping it off and trying again a couple times. ;)Anyway, he even did a quick touch up on the tattoo on my other arm (that DID actually get messed up by someone) and now it looks perfect. I've posted a photo of both, you can see where he touched up the atom and the geometric window was the piece he completed for me from scratch. I didn't even think about how much work this must've been to get those lines perfect and straight, and a year later they're still perfect.

I have been a customer of Mark since my first tattoo, and I intend to have all my work done through him. Some great things about Mark is his attention to detail - he's SUPER OCD about placement and won't start until he feels the placement is perfect. He makes great suggestions and makes sure you're comfortable with the choices being made. Also helps he is very kind and funny; the kind of tattoo artist that is a close friend you like to see every so often.His arts old school-new school if I had to describe it. Great line work, nice and bold, and he's the kind of guy you can trust to make dope art even with vague ideas. The shop is super clean and comfortable, with plenty of parking available... Be sure to check out the model ship he made himself out front, truly a craftsman of all kinds!

I spent a few weeks looking for an artist when I decided to get another tattoo. I came across Mark's work and immediately loved his style, designs and of course the other great reviews. During my consultation Mark listened to my ideas and asked questions to make sure we were both on the same page. He took my idea and turned it into a fantastic work of art that far exceeded my expectations. I will definitely be going back to Mark the next time I want a tattoo and I would hands down recommend him to anyone wanting a piece.

I waited a long time to get my first tattoo, and luckily I found Mark! He was patient, kind, and gentle. He not only created a great tattoo, but the placement was unique and thoughtful, and he diligently walked me through aftercare. The entire experience was so great, I went to him for my second tattoo, as well. Mark is not only an extremely talented tattoo artist (I love his traditional style!), but he is also a genuinely nice person. He went out of his way to tattoo me (and my friends) on more than one occasion. I would definitely recommend him.

My entire experience with Mark was great. He promptly scheduled an appointment for me when I called, and was very receptive to all my questions. He drew up a sketch of exactly what I wanted, and was knowledgeable in every aspect of his art. He's a great listener, and you can tell he cares.
