This awesome tattoo shop is easily one of the best-kept secrets tucked away in downtown Independence. The owner, Kevin, is truly the best. His personality is so laid back and chill - but his dedication to his artwork is phenomenal.  He has a unique vision and really carries it out to perfection. Great line work, fabulous shading, really crisp images. My husband and I found this place by chance in the nick of time while we were planning our memorial tattoos for our daughter. Kevin was a pleasure to work with and was patient with our many adjustments in the planning phase. The artist is a true professional and knows his stuff, after a bad experience with professionalism at a different shop I came here to have my tattoo finished, and I am so pleased with the color work and highlights in the outline that I had filled. The outline before was so plain and basic, now the tattoo is finished and it's swimming with beautiful, vibrant color. It looks so good, and I am so happy every time I see it and whenever I can show this piece of art off to anyone. Main Street Tattoo states on their website: "Established in 2010, Main Street Tattoo is a state licensed facility adhering to the highest levels of sanitation and professionalism," and I couldn't agree more.  Kevin is amazing, his work is great, and his prices are ridiculousness reasonable.   I have a few tattoos and the one from him is the best in quality and color.  I have recommended this shop to many friends and everyone has been happy with his work.  Main Street Tattoo is located in the historic downtown of Independence, Oregon, which might not be where you expect it to be, but the work Kevin does, the care he puts into his work, and his attention to detail is fantastic.  Best of all he has the guts to tell you when he thinks your idea might not work, and always has suggestions that will improve the art you'll have on your body for the rest of you life.  This is not a place for kids, so if you're thinking of getting some ink, call a babysitter.Kevin has a great sense of humor, is a wonderful artist, and I'm going back soon for another tattoo.
