I'll try to keep this as short as I can, I met with a tattoo artist by the name of Joshua Hood on 3/27/16. We spoke about what I wanted he asked me for a appointment deposit and we set a date of 4/12/16. He said he would email me a receipt for the downpayment and a sketch of the tattoo. Text him 8 times before I heard back from him on 4/8/16 which to that all he said was "sorry I went home early yesterday, I'll send you something this weekend" He never sent me a receipt or sketch. Finally on our tattoo date, just a couple hours before our appointment he cancels, which at that point I ask for my money back and he never bothered to reply. So I had to go to his manager Joanne for my money. I Wouldn't Recommend This so called "Tattoo Artist" to anyone. He is shady and extremely unprofessional. Read Less

I have had two piercings done here (earl & tounge). I was nervous getting both done but with awesome piercers you can't go wrong! Each time I come here I feel super comfortable and at ease. My nipple barbells were too small (chosen by staff) and regressed back into the nipple overnight. I called, but was told I would have to wait behind anyone else, as it was first come, first served. My nipples were freaking BLEEDING. So, very painfully, I did it myself. I would never ever recommend this place to anyone, if their follow-up care sucks so badly. Profit over keeping customers. This place is outrageously expensive. $32 for a plain barbell is outlandish. They replaced a barbell for my conch that I had lost on my way up from California. (It's weird that I couldn't just buy the jewelry). The piercer was nice but my conch became inflamed and eventually got infected after her changed it. The piercing is 10 years old, and I've lost the barbell for longer periods in the past. It was only missing for about 20 hours this time around. So I'm not really sure what the shop did. The back of the barbell also fell off 2 days after the fact. I should have just left it out until I got back to CA. This was not a good experience at all. Read Less

Ari is the best, I took my 8 year old in to get her lobes pierced for her birthday, he walked her through every step, made sure she was absolutely comfortable and completely aware of what was going on. My friend and I drove from bend to get pierced here. We both got our nipples and I love them but they put in a normal nipple bar, giving no healing room & I have no piercer a here in bend besides bitchy Jaimee😒 I tried to say the jewelery looked way too small but obviously wasn't listened to.. Worth it so worth it! Ari pierced my cheeks he's amazing! I didn't even bruise from the clamps and got free sea salt to make a solution to prevent infection! I had it done before and one got messed up plus both of my cheeks bruised and were angeled wrong so I was hesitant about going to get it done again at all. First experience here was 5 years ago (13th st. Location) getting my daughters first love piercings. The service was great, but because there was no surgical stainless available, we were sold implant grade titanium which resulted in piercing bumps- very painful for a 6 yo. I went to Black Lotus to have them re-pierced with SS and had no problems. Fast forward 5 years- Second piercing for my daughter and a nose piercing for me. I paid extra for rose gold and diamond, which has fallen out twice in 1.5 weeks. I'm here waiting (45 min) to have a cheaper ring put in because the counter person is basically shrugging his shoulders like "oh well". Seems like the would be discounting the new ring or giving me the money back on the defective item- which they keep telling me "shouldn't be falling out". Now- if I had even touched my nose ring once- I would feel responsible, as it is, I've woken up twice with it missing and had to search my bed for it. Bummer- but, first world problems- ya know. Edit: waited and saw Jared, who completely fixed the situation. I'm so pleased- he basically guaranteed my piercing and replaced necessary pieces without a charge. Super awesome. I got a piercing there awhile back, and it is badly done, my ear is somewhat deformed, and have skin that grew over the earring, I would not recommend anybody get a piercing from them they did a botched job on my ear and I am forever deformed because of them. Read Less

Ari Pimsler is the NICEST piercer I have ever met. He was polite and cordial and everything a dude who works at a tattoo shop, in my experience, is usually not. Definitely a customer service experience I will not forget. Ask for Ari if you go here!I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 because although this guy deserves 5 himself, the other people were more typical (again, in my experience) tattoo shop employees. They seemed slightly annoyed that you were there  at all and clearly annoyed if you wanted to ask a question about jewellery. Sorry I have questions about foreign objects that may be passing through my body. I'll never get that...The shop itself was nicely decorated with lots of comfortable seating and looked very clean and sanitary. Fantastic experience! Didn't consider going anywhere else. I know a ton of people whom have been to High Priestess and have had nothing but good to say about the establishment. Clean, professional, and welcoming environment and staff. (I felt like I was walking into some kind of botique.) I got my nose pierced yesterday (first new piercing in 20 years) and felt safe and supported. The piercer, Alex, was very kind and funny while he walked me through all the steps and what he was preparing to do right before he did (e.g. cleaning the area). I had very little stress throughout the process and walked out smiling. The whole experience was very efficient. I was exceptionally impressed at the care by the facility to ensure safe and hygenic conditions (e.g. nitrile gloves, sharps bin). It kind of felt like a doctors office, which I appreciated considering the services provided. Read Less

Stopped in today to try and change my nose stud to a ring and some rings in my ears to studs. The staff seemed annoyed to answer my questions, impatient and not welcoming at all. One gal did call the other location to see about a certain ring for me, but then disappeared in the back without communicating what she found out. Rude staff. We stopped in to change out my daughter's nose jewelry from a stud to a ring. We were told that the "piercing was done wrong" and therefore could not accommodate a ring?!? We returned to Imperial in Boise, Idaho where their professional and courtesy staff quickly changed out the stud to a ring. Lost my nose ring right before a trip to Eugene so walked in to have it replaced at High Priestess. The girl behind the counter was awful (maybe because she had to come in and help me before she had finished her cigarette and conversation with someone outside)... She wasn't helpful when I asked questions about the jewelry. I picked something out and waited for the piercing guy. Went in and as he was shoving the jewelry into my nose after briefly bending it, he mentioned that the guage was bigger than my hole, but shoved it in anyway. It hurt, then it got infected. I ditched the larger piece and have a temporary earring in until I can get to my own piercer at Jori Zan in Salem. I will NEVER go back to this dirty, unprofessional business again and I would not recommend it to anyone. Read Less

The location was immaculate and attractively decorated. I considered subtracting a star because there is very little parking room this will not keep me from returning.
