I have had several sessions with Joe; 17 hours total on one giant back piece. Everything from hard lines, black shading, color, and scripture... Always awesome! He does amazing work and made sure I was getting exactly what I wanted ! Very sanitary and double cleans everything. I've always felt comfortable and welcomed. He not only took us as walk ins, he took the time to design my tattoo and make sure it was everything I was expecting before even starting to prep for it. He double cleans everything, making it super sanitary and he continued to make sure all was clean while he was working. Yesterday, my mom, sister and I went to Black Magic and had a fantastic experience with Darren. First off, I called the day before and asked if there was anyway that he could squeeze us in the next day and he didn't even hesitate to say yes! He worked with us when we came in and told him our ideas and was super flexible and had a great attitude. The day of our tattoos my sister went in first. She came back with great tattoos exactly what she wanted and said that Darren was terrific. My mother as next and felt the same way. She learned a lot about him and said he was super nice. Lastly, I went in, same thing he was wonderful! Very professional, the place was super clean and he was kind and chatted with me through my hour long ankle tattoo. Had my first tattoo done by Joe at Black Magic just a few days ago. Let me first say, my expectations were far exceeded by the quality of Joes work. I have coworkers with many tattoos, and they were all very impressed with the work Joe did. Tattoos are peramanent, so you should go somewhere that is going to do an A+ job. I asked around, and had multiple friends recommend Joe for the quality of work he does. He takes his time and does not take shortcuts. He spent over an hour and a half over our appointment to make sure the tattoo was perfect with all the minor little details and DID NOT charge extra. He answered all my stupid questions and explained everything he was doing. I met with him on two separate occassions to plan out what I wanted done. We fine tuned it until we came up with a solid sketch. His shading and attention to detail was outstanding. He mixed certain colors with black to give areas a darker, textured look. I was really impressed at how he could get so detailed with the colors and shading. His prices are very fair as well, although I wasn't going to go bargaining for the cheapest tattoo at some mediocre shop. Joe is very clean and sanitary and took precautions to make sure it stayed that way. Ask around, he knows what he is doing and is a professional. Check out his work, you will be pleased with what you see. All in all, I would highly recommend, and will go to Joe for any additional tattoos in the future, no doubt. Read Less
