Living in Eugene, you expect the services here to be "OK." Certainly not outstanding, but I don't think a decent haircut should be too much to ask for. I walked in, asked for a fade and "nothing too crazy." Explained the time since my last haircut and showed the barber (woman) how I typically style it. She proceeds to begin my haircut, working quietly- I certainly did not feel the most welcomed, given it was my first time at Analog. Now everything was looking fine once she had finished the sides. However, she then begins to quite literally line-up my sideburns and neckline with a straight razor, bringing the hair far behind the natural growing hairline. Unfortunately for me, I noticed this once she was finished. Visibly upset, I ask why she, or any upscale barbershop, would ever do such a thing. She replies "it's all part of our design here, it's the geometry that looks best with every haircut." No, it does not. I ask her to stop with the haircut, leaving before she further butchered my hair, completely dissatisfied. In conclusion, if you're looking for a hair style absolutely unsuitable in any professional environment, but maybe a "fresh geometric cut" that'll help you blend right in "the hood" then this is your place.
