Emailed back and forth with a tattoo artist with horrible attitude, then to call and revive horrible attitude from the front desk. I will say there was one woman who was quite helpful when I called the first time, but after the artist stopped corresponding for the tattoo I am deciding to go elsewhere. Contacting this studio was a large waste of time and their artists do some sub par work. If you want to go somewhere that does nice tattoos without the horrible attitude and unwarranted superiority complex then I suggest studio lumos! Note: I have been here for a couple jewelry swaps and the staff were just as horrible then, I expected it however not to the degree it was presented, It is almost comical how rude the artists are here. (This is not my first piercing or my first nose jewelry change). Today I went in to get a nose piercing jewelry change- pretty standard and no big deal. The woman who greeted me was awesome, knowledgeable and kind. The woman who actually went to change my piercing said almost nothing to me and was incredibly rough removing my previous piercing. My eyes watered more than when I got the actual piercing and I was very uncomfortable. I was so uncomfortable that I asked her about her day just to ease the tension and she was adequately polite. The rest of the experience was fine and I left with an incredibly sore nose. Now that it's been several hours my nose is throbbing. My daughter went here on her birthday to get a nose piercing and an industrial bar. The shop was extremely impersonal, gave her no aftercare instructions except the pamphlet, and didn't give her sea salt. Three months later when she went to a different shop to buy a hoop for her nose piercing she had another piercer look at it and had to get her nose re-pierced because it was pierced in a bad spot and at the wrong angle. She also had the piercer look at her industrial because a large infection bump had formed despite following cleaning instructions, and upon examination it was found that the industrial wasn't lined up properly, causing tension which lead to poor healing and thus infection. I've tried twice in the last couple months to go get something but ended up removing my jewelry because of the vibes in there. They've been either rude or so awkward and it's silent in there lol. I recently visited this shop to have an old (30 years), very faded (but intricate) tattoo re-colored. The young women working the front were professional and pleasant. Most importantly, the artist who re-colored my tattoo (Lyndon) did an amazing job. Lyndon somewhat changed the coloring from the original and it now looks better than new. I got my nose pierced here. They do two piercings per minimum piercing price, so that was already pretty awesome. But they also offered super cute jewelry. And the piercer was so great! He was very knowledgeable and friendly. He was so nice to me even though I was super nervous and my pain tolerance was super low. I also got a tattoo here. I have been a (piercing) customer for years and had my fair share of rude or demeaning front-end employees. I have walked out feeling like a complete idiot, but have always come back because of their piercer's customer service (Tigger and Danny). Today was the first day that the girl at the front (haven't seen her before, blonde, Morty tat) was kind, knowledgeable and actually made me feel welcome. When I instinctively touched my piercing on my ear, instead of demeaning me and freaking out, she quickly handed me a disinfecting wipe and instructed me to use it on my fingers. I wasn't shamed but kindly treated and reminded of their strict policy on cleanliness. The piercer, Sarvas, was quick, engaging and made me feel at ease. They do a great job on my husband's tattoos. His always look good. But I wanted a 3d beaded rosary style ankle bracelet tattoo. The guy that does my husband's tattoos said he wasn't able to tackle the 3d that I wanted and referred me to one of the girls. Big mistake for me to go to her. No where near 3d and the beads are no where near the color in the picture I showed her. She told me the coloring would get lighter etc. It looks aweful. Will have to go get it fixed by a real artist. Very disappointed. I need to find a 3d specialist. I think I will only go to the real pros in Portland. That seems to be where the real talent is. Corvallis is a joke Read Less

However, I went in looking to change my jewelry and was told I couldn't do that until I "get my shit together" by a different employee. I can handle my piercing not being ready to change jewelry. First time at this place. Staff was super friendly given that I had only had one piercing in my life besides my ears and never a tattoo. I'm sure my questions were ridiculous sounding from their perspective but they never let me see that they were thinking that. Lol. Zach pierced my eyebrow and put an industrial piercing in my ear. The staff are all very nice and helpful and are probably the best part about this place. My piercer, Tigger, was very sanitary and professional with my eyebrow piercing. It never once got infected and my experience and final result were both great. However, looking through their tattoo portfolio is pretty disappointing. I didn't have to wait long at all to get pierced and when it came time, I had the best experience I could have imagined. Danny was my piercer and he was more than adequate about making me feel comfortable. My friend and I came in a couple days ago to get our belly buttons pierced. We were both super nervous since this was our first piercing besides our ears. Danny was the best!!! Not only did he answer all of our questions and gives us plenty of information, but he also managed to make our nerves and anxiousness go away. I didn't come in to get a piercing or a tattoo, but I came in to get my nose stud changed into a ring.I love the decor, the place was really interesting to look at while I was waiting. There were also a lot of tattoo booklets to look at. Their displays have beautiful jewelry.The service that I came in for was free, which I really appreciate. I love that although I was only coming in for a piercing change, they still did the whole procedure of being sanitary. Gloves, laying down paper over their surfaces, etc. I also saw the piercer cleaning up from the service done before me.If I ever choose to get a new piercing, I'll be returning here. My sister and I planned on getting matching tattoos here recently but she lives in Eugene so she came to visit two weekends in a row. The first weekend we had our consultation with the tattoo artist who acted like she understood our idea, but didn't sketch anything out which I thought was surprising based on my experience with other tattoo artists. The next weekend my sister came to visit we had an appointment for our tattoos. When we showed up the artist only had one drawing for us - again surprising because in my past experiences at other places the artists had given us a couple of options based on our idea - and it wasn't what we wanted. Considering it is something we were paying to have permanently inked onto our bodies, we wanted it to be what we were looking for. The artist told us she didn't have time to re-draw it for us, telling us she crammed us into her tight schedule. I tried to be understanding but she wasn't terribly nice about the whole thing. So we attempted to make another appointment but being that my sister doesn't live in this town and that the deal we were going to get ends with the month, we weren't able to get the tattoos at all. Both my friend and I started our arm tattoos at the Corvallis location. We both went to Natalie.  We are both extremely displeased with what we  got. Natalie quoted me around $600-750 for the whole thing, and $500 in all I had was horrible looking lines  and random child doodles on the arm, and it was 1/5th done at the MOST..  $500 in.  The clear plastic stuff she put on also took off much of the color and left it looking spotty.  She had lots of colors but there are parts of my arm that I am embarrassed of.  Mostly I am upset about how much money she charged me! For slow, bad looking work.  I switched to a new artist at a different shop and he had to go over everything she did, and now my arm looks great and I get constant compliments. I will never go back to high priestess. Do not get tattooed there!Also, she was not ver nice to me during the consult, she was hard to get a hold of and late on every appointment I had with her.
