The artists are very skilled, clearly, but communication and attention to detail are lacking. I got a technically proficient tattoo. Unfortunately it was not the design I asked for. If you’re getting a tattoo on a part of your body that you can’t easily see, I recommend asking for updates, so that you walk out with exactly what you’ve had in mind. I thought I knew he was done, and I was right, but I didn’t say anything, and when I finally thought to ask it was too late and I had to commit to his error fully. When I pointed out the mistake, I only got an excuse, I never received an apology. Although while I tried to grin and bear it, I was surprised that I was charged the exact amount I was quoted at the beginning. You’d think they’d knock off even $10 - not that ten bucks would have made any difference, but it's the principle of the matter. Yes, it is skillfully done tattoo, and it might not seem like a big deal, but it’s a detail was made clear, and it was a detail that was left by the wayside. I had a specific design in mind that I’d been planning for a long time, and that is not what I left the shop with. Now I have this permanent ink on my skin, all because the artist went on autopilot. *in response to the owner, I received more ink than I asked. Why would I want to come in and get more ink to fix it. And it’s not just the healing process, this is my eighth tattoo, I know what the healing process is. Had a totally awesome experience here! My coworkers and I were in Tulsa to attend some hair classes for our job and decided to stop off at a shop and get pierced. They handled our loud and rambunctious selves very well. Brian, I believe his name was, pierced four of us in a timely manner, as painlessly as possible. All of our piercings turned out wonderfully, we couldn't be happier. First, let me say these guys are so very talented. They were all very personable and helpful, they made the experience very enjoyable. The environment was mellow , relaxing and clean. I came in as a walk in and they got me in straight away. My personal vision was not an obtainable one (on a walk in basis) and they were very open and honest about that, which is completely understandable. my only set back was that for the size of the tattoo I got, and the fact it only took about 25-30 minutes, I paid $200, which was a bit pricey. BUT definitely good quality work. I would definitely recommend them to a friend with a bit thicker budget :) Read Less

I went to get a matching tattoo with my best friend, you know something us tacky girls do. Just a simple heart on the wrist. Now I had the picture of the exact heart I wanted. While he was showing me different heart shapes, I kept telling him what I wanted and he kept making me doubt my opinion and what i wanted. My fault, I just agreed with him and get the tattoo he told me to do. I take full responsibility for that. I should've held my ground and tell him to keep looking. For the price I was paying for just a penny sized heart ($50) he didn't have to be so impatient and annoyed. Plus, this is gonna be permanently on me and I want to get it right. It wasn't even colored in, just the outline of a heart. So let's fast forward about 2 minutes since that's legit how long it took to do it. While sitting there waiting for him to put clear cream on and explain the after care, I noticed that one side was lopsided. But I thought maybe it was just me and the ink smeared. Plus the little girl that I am, I didn't wanna say anything or didn't have the guts to. I was hoping, so hoping it was just smeared ink or the angle I was looking at it. But once we got outside and I showed my cousin and friend and they also see that it's lopsided. That's when my cousin told me that he also noticed that it was lopsided when I was sitting in the chair but didn't say anything because he thought it was the angle my wrist was at. Not only is mine lopsided, my best friends heart was one side thicker than the other. Like come on really? A simple heart! You traced a simple heart! Now I have to pay someone to fix it, and they're probably gonna have to make it bigger or something. The tattoo artist is named Jake I believe btw. To be honest, the whole experience I never once felt comfortable. I don't think I'll ever go back unless they're willing to fix the problem or refund me. But highly doubtful. Read Less

I went in to get a Notre Dame Logo tattooed on my calf. A simple ND in 2 colors and the words Fighting Irish. I made the mistake of not settling on a price before the owner started his work because I was hit with a $280 bill for a utterly substandard piece of work. The line work is at best amature quality. I only wish I could upload a picture of my last 2 tattoos. One a beautiful piece of artwork done by Solid Ground Tattoo that I am proud to show off to everyone, and the other this over proiced error in judgement that I now have to pay someone else to fix. Both tattoos cost the same but the tulsa tattoo co is inferior in every way and I only show it off as a word of caution to the 300+ electricians and trades people I work with everyday. Tulsa Tattoo Co should be ashamed of themselves and the only way I would ever set foot in this shop again would be for a refund and apology which I am certain will never come. Lesson learned. This review is strictly regarding piercing: I've come in here a few times for a few piercings and each time has been a fantastic experience. Brian knows how to make you feel comfortable, walks you through what he is doing and is very professional.  On top of all of that he is quite avid on keeping everything sterile which can definitely be seen as a number one factor when dealing with piercing. Completely recommend this place for anyone seeking a piercing. It's located on Cherry Street in front of Chipotle. As soon as you walk in you can tell it is a professional place. There is very neat local art work on the wall, and the flooring is made out of pennies. You need to fill out a waiver. I think the age restriction is 16+ or with an adult. The guy that works there, a bearded fellow, really knows his stuff. I felt comfortable because he thoroughly answered all my questions with an unbelievable amount of knowledge. He took me into a secluded room, and picked the area on my nose that he chose best, but I changed it about 5 times. He allowed my friend to film, which was awesome. After it was all done, he gave me a card with the care steps and his phone number to call if I ever had any questions. I spent $40 on myself because I chose titanium over the standard stuff.
