The only reason I didn't put 5 stars is because I wasn't informed on the pricing after the first hour. Maybe I should've asked, but I feel, as any type of artist, you should give 100% of any and all information like that from the start. Pfffft! Came here to price a touch up on a two of my tattoos. They were all black, each no bigger than 4"x2". The lady at the front said it is a minimum $125 for one hour, and over an hour would be another $125. When I got these tattoos it took less than an hour for both on the same day. John Black started a half sleeve & his work went beyond my expectations. By far the best I’ve seen around. I patiently looked for a cpl yrs for the right artist, I didn’t want to settle for halfass detail-work it being a rather large noticeable piece I was wanting. His attention to detail is insane. Did a walk in with Josiah today and I will say that he did an amazing job! I got a crescent moon with swirls in it and its perfect. The lines are clean and crisp! It’s looks great! I took my boys for their first tattoos. We were greeted by Jamie who was friendly and informative. He managed to fit us in. We worked with artists Dub and Cindy. I had one of my greatest tattoo experiences here! I was a walk-in on a Saturday and felt very welcomed. The guys were so easy to talk to and very cool. I appreciated how encouraging everyone was about the tattoo I was getting (an alien holding a cat) on my butt cheek. The environment was relaxed, they played good music, everything was clean! I have wanted my tattoo for a long time, it was a very meaningful tattoo.. I originally thought I wanted it behind my ear but I spoke with the artist doing the tattoo and it was decided it would be better for somewhere else, then we thought the foot I finally chose my wrist and I couldn't be happier! I have been to many shops in many different states and I was very impressed with this group here. My husbands grandmother passed away unexpectedly, and we wanted to get matching tattoos for her while people were in town. It was a bit of a crazy week but the shop was very patient with us and booked us so we could all come in together and get this done! Josiah did mine and my husbands, he's a great artist and a really great guy, my husband plans to come back to him ( even with us living in Arizona) to get his sleeve started. I'd been wanting a real tattoo for many years. I had a small tattoo done over 10 years ago. I walked into the shop and was greeted immediately. I met Josiah for the first time and explained to him what I envisioned. He was trying to bring that vision to life but explained that he had another appointment shortly. So, I have nothing but accolades for this group. I was in line at the Cancer Sucks Tattoo Marathon to get a memorial tattoo for my Mom's birthday (she would have been 69 on the 12th, but passed away from Cancer the day before my birthday nearly two years ago) when my husband called to say that our little girl schnauzer died unexpectedly. I thought that I wound try and get the tattoo Saturday morning, but I was too late. They had put everything away, and most of the artist ha...d left�. I spoke with Kenneth and he told me if I came by the shop on Monday or Tuesday that he would take care of me, since I had to get out of line and tend to my dearly departed puppa-kid. So, I got to the shop on Monday, and was greeted by the staff and Josiah did my 10th tattoo. I am one happy gal, and have got sooo many compliments. I haven't had a tattoo in 5 years, because Darklight Tattoo in Fort Smith, AR. has my heart (much love and respect to Dylan Glaze. I went in around August to talk about a piece; I wanted to get my family crest on my shoulder and get someone else's shoddy work touched up on my leg. I decided to have john black be the artist. I gave him some reference pics, told him what I liked, and - since he's the artist - just have fun with it and make it badass. The first open appt he had was mid October, not ideal as I'm impatient; but, I figured there was a good reason he was that booked up. When I finally went in and got it, It took about 5.5 hours & he only got up twice for a very short time. I have 2 tattoos both were done at spaded and jaded. One is about 8 inches long and the other is about 21/2. They both cost the same price $100. I was very pleased with my first done by Pierre. Very clean beautiful writing and took about 20-30 minutes.. it barely hurt ON MY RIBS!! For being my first tattoo I was unbelievably happy with my experience. The 2nd looked faded and several spots where the artist went past the stecil and would just start that line over to correct it without covering her mistake in some way. Pierre is no longer at spaded and jaded but i have heard he is still around in tulsa, IF ANYONE KNOWS WHERE PIERRE IS PLEASE LET ME KNOW, HE IS AN AMAZING ARTIST AND VERY FRIENDLY! Read Less

If I could give more stars I would!! Johnny did my side tattoo and I am SO pleased! Anytime anyone tells me they want a tattoo, I tell them they would be silly to go anywhere else. But to plan ahead... Because Johnny is always booked! Luckily we went in to get ours done by any artist and just so happened Johnny had just gotten back into town so he was taking walk-ins! Wahoo! So yes--I highly recommend Spaded and Jaded! My tattoo was a simple Oklahoma state with a heart in it. Called to try to see if there was a day to make appointment. Girl said just come in Friday we do walk ins. Showed up and she was being rude to two girls in there. Should have known . She told us to be there by noon, we were there by 11:45. Artist wasn't even coming in till late afternoon! She said well u should have made an appointment! R u serious!? I tried! She was rude on phone and in person. Someone needs to tell her to comb her nasty hair and learn how to treat customers! I do not recommend this place. We went in and spoke to the tattoo artist about what we wanted and then made a soft appointment for the following day. We offered to be completely flexible on the appointment time due to him having a very large tattoo already scheduled for the same day. Two hours after the scheduled appointment time we called and were assured that he was almost done. And then we never heard from him again. So basically we waited around all day for this guy only to be completely blown off. That is just bad business! So the next day we wend to Brookside and got very professional and courteous service. The service is quite professional with outstanding health safety procedures. I was especially blown away by their customer art honesty as I would call it. For instance I noticed a customer walking in with a picture of an awesome pirate flag that was flying high above its mast and the customer wanted it on his hand. As mere coincidence, i'm hoping... The artist listening to the customer had a big burly pirate beard. He was only missing the eye patch and wooden leg. Lol. Well the pirate artist then said, "how's your work life working for ya? Are you stable in that field and is the job security great there?" The customer then responded with a shocked look and said," I'm between jobs and I really don't have a trade yet. Why do you ask & does it really matter, bro?" The artist replied with, "well it's like this.... You ain't got a job and you want to further your jobless future by placing yourself in the possibly unemployable list of America. Because by placing that tattoo in a place obvious to the general publics line of sight will give you a drastic disadvantage when it comes to clean cut joe shmoe with his tattoos hidden precisely out of general view." The customer then took the pirates hand and shook it with great appreciation and said, " cool my left chest has been craving a pirate flag flying above my still beating heart." Now all this really took place in front of my eyes. I thought it was very admirable of the tattoo artist thinking about the customers best interest with superior trade knowledge and professionalism. I would have to rate this place with a five star but unfortunately the place has gained so much great repertoire among the inked community that getting booked for a session could take as long as a month or a month and a half. But who knows with a little luck someone fell down five steps and broke their hip....leading to a appointment cancellation and a few hours opening for a lucky walk-in. I've heard all the artist are as equally brilliant with their hands but I have to go feed my always hungry two months old baby. So I have to go. But I definitely recommend Spaded & Jaded Tattoo Co.
