She is such an exceptional makeup artist that she is consistently sought out as an expert and hired to train others in the proper way to apply the permanent makeup. Shanan messed up my lips terribly. I had my lips done 10 yrs ago in OKC and everything was fine. Five years later they were faded and i wanted to get them redone. I went to shanan since she was closer and i regret this decision. My lips had dark streaks across them. she cut into my lip in one spot so deep the scar dents in. The edges looked like a roller coaster ride and everything was light and dark(splotchy). It took over two years to find the person who did it before to get this fixed as much as possible. since the scar dents in putting more color on it won't fix that like it would with a flat scar. Shanan came up with a plan to correct my eyebrows and was there for me thru the lengthy process of correction. I went and saw Shanan Last Summer for permanent makeup. It was horrible. She did a VERY fine on my eyeliner. Very very fine. Not at all what I was expecting . Then most of it faded off unevenly. She did do a touch-up but it happened again. My makeup faded off and is still very uneven. When I tried to get ahold of Shanan she refused to return my calls. I would not recommend to a friend. I spent close to three years researching eyeliner tattooing. There are several Makeup Tattoo options in the Tulsa Area and I read and reread the way they explained their approach! I did know, that I did not want to be injected with any kind of numbing medication in my face! I started to stalk Shanan via face book, reading the reviews left by happy women! Shanan is also currently the ONLY Oklahoma artist that holds a CPCP. CPCP certification from the Society of Permanent Cosmetic Professionals (SPCP). It is an exam that must be passed to state this claim. She is very knowledgeable about what she does, explains as she works, patient and very sweet! Made me feel at ease! I cannot express how absolutely thrilled I am when to look in the mirror and I do not have to paint my eyeliner on! It looks perfect every morning!
